I'm your host, Darren Van Dam!
Tired of looking for good movies to watch on Netflix, Amazon Prime or other streaming services? Every week I recommend a handful of the best movies on Netflix, Amazon, HBO etc. so my subscribers never run out of good movies to watch on streaming. Spending 10 minutes watching one of my videos could save you hours of searching, hours that you could otherwise spend watching good movies on streaming that you otherwise might not have ever watched or even known about.
Thanks for watching!

  • Streaming has conditioned us to keep watching the same old movies over and over, because the new ones suck. I imagine a "dogs playing poker" scenario where the big streamers are gambling over who plays/recycles what. When you say "coming BACK to Netflix", are people waiting for something like Fear? My DVD collection is better than Netflix's library.

    • Exactly. I actually consider buying DVDs again of my favorite movies/shows. That way I am sure I can watch whenever I want. Streaming services might decide to remove something and we might not be able to watch it unless we have it on media.

    • *Laughs in Amazon Prime* ...anything worth watching on Amazon Prime either requires yet another subscription or you have to buy or rent it from Amazon itself. And now I have to pay extra on top of my $100+ per year to not see ads just to ad insult to injury. Yeah, netflix costs $23/mo, but at least I don't have to pay to watch a series or subscribe somewhere else on top of that.

    • D&D's GOT got worse and worse near the end when they ran out of material to adapt. That showed that they are good at adapting books but bad at writing new material of their own. So there is a good chance they might screw up The Three Body Problem because although the book series is complete, D&D decided to change the Chinese-oriented characters and plot of the books and invent new stuff to be more relatable to Netflix's Western audiences.

The big draw was a series about Jesus that gained a lot of attention, and then Vikings was on afterward with no hype at all, and became this massive hit purely on word of mouth. The show started kind of slowly and I dont think people could tell if it was a docudrama, or what. But it became this huge juggernaut that was probably responsible for the History channel's popularity, which they quickly bungled...

Before corps, humans fell asleep after dinner, between 3 and 5 p.m. They would wake around 10 o 11 p.m., do a couple chores, sit up and read. Fell asleep again around midnight, and up at 4 a.m.right before sunrise. They called it first and 2nd sleep. I am 60, work for my ill hubby, at home. So. No more stress about what I was doing, NATURALLY. I feel sssoooo much better! I do bead work around midnight, about 2 hrs, and wake at 7. Ask your doctor 😊! • Really looking forward to "3 body problem". Absolutely love the books. If youve never heard of it i recomend going in blind. If you like hard Scifi/speculative fiction and dont mind an occasional exestential crisis it could be for you. Not sure how theyre going to translate the 2nd and 3rd book because it gets pretty fking wacky.

    • Its a very thought provoking book. China has made multiple adaptions for it already and many are mid some are bad. Netflix does a horrible job adapting stuff so I'm sure they will do a horrible job.

    • @Stonegoal Yeah, I'm cautiously optimistic. To be fair to D&D with Game of Thrones, they did a decent job of adapting the books, but then season 7 & 8 happened. At least this book series is complete. But it's gonna be a very tough one to adapt. Even the books aren't exactly "accessible". I recommend the books to people with the disclaimer that it's really not for everyone. I'm hopeful but not expectant.

  • I only subscribe to Netflix periodically now, mainly certain exclusive Netflix movies or series, I watch the movie or binge the series and move on to the next app, that how u have to do it nowadays wait for promotion deals. I only keep about 3 subscriptions open at a time, but March will not be Netflix month 👎🏽 😂
