Can you imagine if the timing had been right for Tom Holland to be Harry Potter? He would've been an incredible Harry Potter. There are a lot of parallels between Harry Potter and Peter Parker.

This is my favorite interview ever, his level of passion and intelligence blows my mind, and he got the chance to express himself and who he really is. And i appreciate that we got to know him a bit more in a deeper level
I think this is the best interview with Tom I've ever watched. Shout out to Deadline Team for asking really good questions and did such amazing job! It's personal questions yet it's not that kind annoying questions that usually ask (like dating, personal issues, scandal, etc) just to make actors felt awkward to answer it. I can tell how more mature Tom now than couple years ago and so proud of him to sharing the idea of his future life. I hope he can achieve anything he want and can be happy in his own way😊

You can really tell how Tom has opened his heart out for this interview and have been really honest in his answers. Finally an interview with interesting questions also I’m so glad he’s a Harry Potter fan just like me 😁. Can’t wait to see more of toms future films!

Tom: And I've sort of lost the aspirations of being a famous person, and sort of gained these new goals of just being a crative person who likes to work with people. All of this! I've wanted to try something in the entertainment industry for some time, and I know these thoughts started coming into my head with more intensity, in part thanks to him and his interviews (and the way he talks about his craft). He just said it so beautifully here. And he answered the last question in the best way he possibly could. If an actor talks only about the film industry's recovery when there's people having the worst time of their life because of covid and because of rising unemployment, he would have sounded like he doesn't care. But if he talked about how "unimportant" his industry is right now in comparison to what the whole world is suffering, he would have offended some director and producer he could have worked with in the future. xD Btw he's husband material for not wanting to be famous and just wanting to work on projects he's passionate about regardless of how money they make.

The most in-depth and genuine 'interview' I've ever seen. Tom is a remarkable person. I'm now genuinely looking forward to having the privilege to view his journey in life, not just as this actor with a blessed facial structure and incredible talent, but a human being searching for... genuine contentment. By devoting to his passion. Being proud of what he's done in life. I'm not as old as him, but as limited as my view is, he's become a real role model. Well at least for me he is. Never had someone to really look up to before now that I think about it lol. And with the same values too. Well, except for Peter Parker. I should do my homework smh. I've got somebody that I want to be like now lol. Thanks Tom. You're a good man.
That is so lovely to read. Even being older than Tom he can still inspire me with this interview and how he is expressing himself is such a pleasure to watch. Definitely a great role model in many aspects and levels as it very transferable lots of things he is talking about.

Fun fact: me and my family went to Harry Potter studios for my mums birthday, and when we we're there Tom and Zendaya were next door filming Spider-man far from home when I was at HP!! How cool is that!! Also i completely agree with Tom, it's so magical and emotional to go when you've grown up with in it your life!! So yeah I almost met him and Z, but i didn't because my mum wouldn't let us stay for longer to meet them!! :(
And that's the moment I came to be sure he really is a perfect person.

I love to hear Tom's interviews. I couldn't agree more that how he described the work environment and the way is collaborating with the director, producer, colleagues and crew sounds the ideal way to make film. That really doesn't seem the typical Hollywood movies we normally hear about. I enjoy to work more in the same way Tom sees the movie making process.

The only problem with this interview is that it wasn’t longer. I feel like we should be cracking open beers (or in my case, a bottle of wine) and having deep discussions about philosophy & the meaning of “success”.
Oh my god, I can't believe The Impossible was his first acting role, he was so good in that! Arguably, he was the hidden gem and the one that pulled it all together. I love that he cited Harry Potter as the one that stirred his imagination the most; so adorable, but he's also right in that everything put into it showed the beauty of film-making- I like that he chose something true to his heart rather than giving an "arty" film answer. Also really mature answers and so grounded, love him, he's got a bright future ahead of him.

Tom wanted to obtain a role where he could play two different character and switch between them, now he playing a person with 24 personalities inside and has to switch between them) This guy really spoiling his life, so talented and he deserve every bit of his success

I knew he was going to say Ed Norton in Primal Fear! He seems to really like that movie, and Ed's performance in it was one of the best, if not the best, I've ever seen by an actor.

I admire Tom & his mindset so much because I think we see things very similarly. I would absolutely love to work in the film industry, & be able to collaborate with other talents to make something that inspires people, but the Hollywood side of things makes me nervous. I really just want an opportunity to create meaningful art

These are such excellent questions! Much higher quality than the usual style which allows actors to show their creativity and intelligence. So much better than interviewers making it about attractiveness or dating or popularity. I really appreciate seeing this side of Tom, especially getting insight into his ambitions and motivations.
