My cat Bill has almost exactly the same markings, he's sat on my lap purring really loudly currently, after asking nicely for me to flip the leg rest up on my reclliner. The local kids call him Teddy Bear, and I can imagine why, because he's basically a big mug for cuddles and attention. He's 17 now and still does a majority of the thing he did ten years ago..

My mum's also got a Tuxedo Tom cat like him. He just turned up one day and decided that was his home. She think he's about 12yo now and he's as fit as a fiddle! He's really loving like your mom's cat too
