Zelda's sword as in the game's sword not the character that wields it. He could have been referring to it that way as well. The statement didn't have enough context for you to make a judgement on what he was referring to.
"Zelda's Master Sword" Seems about right to me. Not only does it not belong to any Link, but it belongs to the Zelda series.

It belongs to the Goddess Hylia. It used to be the Goddess sword with Fi in it. Now it transformed into the Master Sword.
Mack Martin well the first link did create it. It was first made and used by link in skyward sword. The reason it was put into the ground was to lock up demise
Mack Martin The Master Sword does not belong to the Royal Family and the Links didn’t “borrow” it, the sword has its own will and is the one that decides who will be its master. So the Master Sword does not belong to Zelda or Link, because it is the sword who choose who will wield it not them.

The point is they usually get this stuff right down to the detail so this is a let down compared to the work they usually do. The point of this series is to make a perfect recreation. I guess you're not a Zelda fan because the entire hilt is just way off.

anyone complaining about the color of this blade, you must be 12 years old and have only played the two most recent zelda games. the grip is blue in literally EVERY zelda game before twilight princess. this is just a fact... and nobody really gives a fuck about skyward sword, so he didn't get the colors "wrong." he chose to use the colors from the vast majority of zelda games, including the best ones: the NES games, ocarina of time, majora's mask, and windwaker. in all of these games the color was consistently BLUE. just because he didn't use nintendo's most recent colors doesn't mean he did it wrong. and just because he didn't make you twelve year olds happy by basing a sword off a game for the fucking Wii, doesn't mean he did it wrong. nobody gives a shit about the Wii, nobody gives a shit about the latest zelda games, and nobody cares how much you love them. we care about a faithful replica of the TRUE master sword, which is BLUE

People don't seem to understand that when he says "Zelda's Master Sword", he's not talking about the individual character of Zelda but rather the Legend of Zelda series as a whole, which is commonly abbreviated as just 'Zelda'. As in, the Master Sword from (the Legend of) Zelda. It's the same as if someone were referring to the Super Mushroom from Super Mario Bros; if you just say "the mushroom from Mario" people know you're talking about the game/series, not the actual character.

At this moment, 235 of Ganon's minions are upset about the creation of the Master Sword. Now the only thing left to do is make a pedestal for the sword, place the sword in the pedestal, and hide both in a random forest, or perhaps a random temple, which will become the Temple of Time.

The shade of blue the handle is varies by the game. It's even been purple before. This shade of blue is acceptable.
I used sand casting to make a set of rings in a class I take at school, and I always wanted to try something bigger, thank you for showing me it's possible (albeit with some serious practice)

Really liked this when I first watched it back when it was first put up, but it’s in accurate on the blade. After the triforce engraving it never tappers back down, it goes the full length of the blade. But still enjoyed it.

I'm sure when he said "Zelda's master sword is complete" he meant its the series of games sword (although its not in every LOZ game, its the main weapon), which are commonly referred to as Zelda. So I don't think he made that mistake.
He's definitely referring to "Zelda" as the name of the video game franchise, not specifically the princess. Fun fact: Princess Zelda herself does not show up in every game. For example, she's not seen anywhere in Link's Awakening, and the reasons for that will be obvious to anybody who has played it.
He has said in a previous episode that he has never played a video game. We can't really hold him to the same standard that one would hold a gamer. It's not really his fault for not knowing, he's not a gamer.

omg SERIOUSLY? are you all,who are arguing about the color, are seriously like 5 years old? Cant you just appreciate the hard work he put in it? Can you imagine how hard and how long it takes to make just one sword? Coloring is really easy but the rest is NOT. Blacksmithing isnt easy - you have to be really strong to hold these heavy metals and to be able to forge them, long hours of drilling, forging, smoothing, heating, cooling etc and etc, and if you want it to look even cooler, you also have to make decorative stuff that also takes a lot of patience and long sleepless hard work hours. And there are many people working on it, and i seriously, highly doubt they done it in just one or two days. I dont care what color the handle is, they even could have painted it in rainbow colors, i would still appreciate their patience and hard work. And if you are still complaining about the color, then you are a friking 5 year old who hasnt done any hard work yet, just sitting by a computer and complain about everything, and even if you are older than 5, you STILL act like one...

I'm not completely happy with the final look. Sure he did a great job with all this effort, but he should've taken a darker shade of blue and made the crystal-thing in a different, more longer shape. Also I don't like the guard, it seems a little too small and has not like that epic like winging out kind of style. It's a sword made by the goddesses! But this one reminds me more of a... Let's say cute version xD

it's the Ocarina of Time version of the sword. The hilt is perfect. Color could have been slightly darker but overall the best replica ever made.

no a practical version not cute.The gaurd is already huge and heavy. Honestly this sword is still very impractical
+TrueJediHero that small amount of flexion is actually what you want in a combat ready sword. If the blade flexes too much, it bends and loses its shapes. If it is too stiff and does flex enough, the blade could break on impact. So yeah it's not perfect, but it could be used in a real sword fight.
