@noheader Жыл бұрын
@@noheader I wouldn't say it was purposeful. The driver was likely distracted and therefore instinctively swerved to avoid the collision and is therefore at fault due to their negligence but they didn't purposefully crash, I don't think. You can see their brake lights, they tried to stop at the last second and when they realized rear ending the person in front of them was inevitable, tried to swerve into the other lane, likely not realizing there was a semi coming up next to them. which, again is due to their negligence.
@shayna8324 Жыл бұрын
Totally agree with you. The driver did avoid near ending the other car by leaping in front of the semi. Whether he did it purposefully, almost definitely not...very rarely if ever do people choose to get hit by a semi over rear ending a bunch of people....and he is definitely at fault and almost certainly distracted (people paying attention slow down)....sorry if that wasn't clear in my initial post.

Hey guys I have a story. I started watching all these crazy videos like a month ago. I'm 16 soon to be 17, and I've been driving on my own for almost a year now. I still have a lot to work on as a teenager does, but I've never been a bad driver. One week I got strep throat bc I work with kids and I watched these videos for hours on end. Never really knew why. Then I got better and went back to work. One of my first days back I was pulling out of work onto a big road where lots of people drive. Me having watched all these videos am now very vigilant and defensive while driving. While waiting for my turn to get onto the road I look over to see if I can get on, when suddenly this woman makes an illegal u-turn on a red light, smashing into a big white suv and spinning out onto the shoulder. Immediately I pull into a parking space and run up to the car and ask if everyone is alright. These videos played through my head like a checklist of what to do in this situation. Eventually I called 911 for them, and had it not been for these videos I probably would have frozen up and not have known what to say or do. Instead I became a first responder and was able to calmly, safely, and efficiently handle the situation. That was the first car accident I had ever witnessed. People think im crazy or weird for watching these, but without that week of watching them one after another, I wouldn't have known what to do or how to handle it. I was prepared. Moral of the story is these videos are truly educational and have taught me many lessons about driving and how to handle accidents.

Totally agree with you. The driver did avoid near ending the other car by leaping in front of the semi. Whether he did it purposefully, almost definitely not...very rarely if ever do people choose to get hit by a semi over rear ending a bunch of people....and he is definitely at fault and almost certainly distracted (people paying attention slow down)....sorry if that wasn't clear in my initial post.

these are split second decisions and our natural reaction is to avoid an obstacle, he just didn't have time to process what was coming on the other side of the road. very unfortunate I hope the drivers were ok
Have to agree, - why risk your own life - let the other idiot who pulled out in front get t-boned - and let him win the Darwin Award
Totally agree, if you hit someone else in the process of trying to avoid hitting the initial instigator you can be prosecuted in the UK and/or at least be held responsible for the secondary accident as far as insurance is concerned. Seems to be the opposite in the USA where driving into a situation unnecessarily or unnecessarily causing an accident through trying to avoid a situation you can't get out of is still the fault of the initial person causing the initial situation. Hope that makes sense.🙂

8:20 that was some damn good maneuvering
One thing I remember from my driving instructor, he said be a defensive driver but you should even more so be a predictable driver. Definitely saved my life more then once, stay safe out there peeps

It's important to watch these once in a while and also just before you take a long trip.
I will never understand why people decide to go the speed limit or faster in fog so thick, you can't even see your hand in front of you while in your damn car
Exactly right. I had to drive on the interstate one night in extremely foggy conditions, and everybody else was honking and passing me because I was driving slow-er, but I literally couldn't see 10 ft. in front of my truck, and I just knew that I was gonna hit someone at any time, trying not to be a bad hazard myself to others who came up on me too fast. I did eventually pull up on pile up of vehicles and managed to stop in time, But I also recognized most of the vehicles as the rude ones that honked at me as they flew past me. Karma and No-Common-Sense are evil twins that never forget, and always come back to bite real hard.

His reaction was like 3 seconds, pretty much he didn't pay attention to the road. Even though the SUV ahead of him didn't brake. He's lucky if he didn't hit any cars he passed through. :3
4:04 has literally happened to me before, i swear i had guardian angels pushing the cars aside
9:55 that went better than expected lol
I was pleasantly surprised as well lmao
He’s wrong for it but I’m so impressed
From these videos you learn three things. Always keep to the slow lane like truck drivers, always drive with your head on a swivel and never take off when the light turns green without looking at opposing traffic first.
Some people just have no business at all to be driving! Especially some SUVs, like the guys in 6:31, 10:44 or 11:00! That is just plain "beast-behaviour"! I like it, when they get their "instant karma" (as nicely demonstrated in 11:18...), but wouldn´t it just be a whole lot better, even for them, if they just followed the rules??!
These are good examples of why many people shouldn't have a driver's license.
send the police on them, and they shall write the drivers name on a list and take his license away, when done - they can't get a new license cuz driving schools etc. would forbis them to get a new one
Many people drive without a valid license. Not a smart thing to do, but it's a fact.
I will never understand these dopes who stop in the middle of an interstate or highway and get out or just sit there.
Esp the ones who get out to lecture the cammer about 'safe driving' !!!!
l like watching these...it makes me feel Really Intelligent
Awesome vid!
4:22 instead of a 2 or 3 cars accident it became a 10 cars accident because this guy swerved to avoid a car...
This lane with blue lines reminds me of separate bus lanes in South Korea, which are not allowed to be used by cars. But as seen, you can also use it as an emergency lane. 😱
And because the truck didn't slow down. How can you drive past a traffic jam that fast?
we should have to retake a driving test every few years because it's insane how many people drive like they don't know how
no we are in America most of these vids are in third world countries and eastern europe
Yanks don't know how to use gear box and ruskie are colourblind.
@@newyorkprepper5845 What are you talking about most clips are based in the USA 🤣🤣🤣
@@tunnelv1sion898 most are Russian
That would be very expensive
Wow, some of those crashes were unexpected and brutal that they made me gasp!!!
These types of videos have cemented two ideas into my head. One: A lot of people shouldn't be allowed to drive Two: A lot of the world needs to become less car-centric and more friendly to alternative options.
13:10 This one got me because there's no way the person in the car survived that. Not only was the car tossed but crushed as well. Wrong place wrong time kind of situation.
O dang nope he didn’t survive that guy got crushed
@@takisareintense2721 :(
@@ThisIsTheEnd_JesusIsComingBack or it was a blown tire.
Are u sure they got crushed? I rewatched it multiple times and couldn't tell if the car went under the semi or not. Definitely a horrific wreck, don't get me wrong, but I'm not seeing where they got crushed.
@@kidzbop38isstraightfire92 dude, they're definitely dead. 😞R.I.P
Massive kudos to the truck driver at 12:33 for watching out for those behind him, trying to keep the truck from flipping. That is HARD.
lol sure, but what made them swerve in the first place? lmao there was no vehicle in front of them 🤣
@@lleyo6894 could be alot, not just a vehicle. Many other things could of went wrong
@@lleyo6894 as someone from oklahoma a big one i know if is wind
wind can play a major factor in the flipping of the truck
@@lleyo6894 lost control of the vehicle bro
The reckless abandon that these people apply to their driving astounds me. It's quite scary really.
13:23 How does someone do something like this? And have a license in the first place..
8:02 “that’s crazy” the way he said it 😂
Well, at least that guy at 7:20 won the race. Congratulations.
Ok but I wanna know what happened to the guy at 9:00 he sounds super seriously injured.
I know. Saddening
He lost his dick in that crash.
The more sad thing is he sounds like an old guy
Yeeaaa he definitely was not ok.... The other one around that time stamp too, scary shit.
idk abt yall but the guy at 4:05 was amazing with his fast reaction and movements
13:12 I hope that dude is still with us. That was nasty.
8:10 You think you're safe in your own looooong driveway. But NO!
Gush! The scariest part is when the freeway sign falls off right on top the windshield of the passing car! That's grounds for a huge lawsuit against the city hall! I hope no one got killed or impared!
“He did a full spinny!” is exactly what happened.
Both 13:10 and 13:57 leave no doubt as to the outcome. RIP to these people and may you be in a better place.
9:14 - "I want to beat the train, so the best strategy will be to pull half-way onto the tracks, and then stop." 12:00 - "I can't see more than a dozen feet ahead of me, but I'm just going to assume that everyone else is driving as fast as I am. After all, it's only common sense!" 13:42 - "Now's my chance to get away from this annoying human. I'm going for it!"
I want to thank all the people who put their vehicles up for damage to provide us with education and entertainment for Boxing Day.
I agree, but it sucks for the innocent who get caught in the "crossfire" of idiocy.

Not me yelling at my phone "STOP, THAT WAS YOUR CUE TO STOP! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!" Like they can hear me.
As someone who was very recently in a car crash (2 and a half weeks ago), watching these spikes my anxiety like craaazy 😂
glad youre with us still
I am also watching, will be 2 yrs since my accident.
0:41 that incident could have been deadly if the debris from the freeway sign was a little heavier. 😱
I was just thinking the same! Jeeez!
Yes and definitely would have been pressing all button to sue the city either way. Just the mere fact that that could have took someones head off and/or cause a idk how many car poll up shakes me so deeply
It scaried the sh*t of me
I honestly thought someone had lost their head!
definitely , if it hit a little harder it wouldn't sliced them up
Darned good stuff, this should be mandatory viewing for everyone who drives - VERY instructive!!!
👍 And "Destructive".
4:07 my boy….you are CERTIFIED fr How tf did you make that😂😂
5:45 how funny and how lucky was that....😅😂😅
