- They can hear the babies heartbeat. That's why it's stupid to prank your dog lying on he floor pretending you're dead. They easily hear your heart beating, same with cats

- @@naylisyazwina6836 its more so the smell than the sound. Their nose is super strong and senses all kind of changes in our hormones or other things regarding whats going on inside our body. Theres dogs specifically trained to smell low blood pressure, low blood sugar and similar things. Dogs "see" through their nose and sniffing another dog literally tells them EVERYTHING about them including what they had for dinner a few days ago ^^

- It’s all fun and games till your dog ditches you for the baby! That’s what’s gonna be different! My dog ditched me for my one year old niece AND SHE WAS JUST VISITING! Nearly bit my friend for moving towards her too fast. She apologized to the dog for startling her when it came to her baby. I’m like “WTF THE BABY IS HUMAN AND NOW ITS HIS BABY?!? DON’T FEED INTO THIS SHES ONLY BEEN HERE FOR THREE HOURS AND SHES GONNA BE HERE FOR THREE DAYS!!” It was so cute! It was his first baby and he even kept her out the kitchen. Such a good boy!

- @@rvlixsa._ They just mean that the dog's acting like the baby's hers in a way. Either way, that's what you say when you're pregnant; if you're married and are pregnant, you would say "we're pregnant".

Fun fact: lots of unspayed female dogs think they are pregnant at some point in there life. They do similar what lady did (nesting, being more tired, more clingy etc). They may treat some of their stuff likes their puppies. The sad part is they often think their puppies passed away when they never come. It makes some dogs depressed. This can happen more then once to unspayed dogs. Lady is so sweet and preparing for her new sibling!

- Our Newfoundland girl had a phantom pregnancy at 6 months old, she had all the signs of actual dog pregnancy such as swollen teets that lactated and her tummy grew, vet confirmed she wasn't pregnant but she did end up giving birth, waters broke the lot, it was absolutely awful, she was so distressed and depressed. It all started when we got another puppy Newfoundland.

- She's basically being a really protective big sister, since Dogs are the biological ancestors of wolves, she views the baby as the "New cub", since this golden retriever is closer to being an adult dog, she's having a much more of a maternal reaction

Dogs are descended from wolves, and typically in a pack only the females at the top of the hierarchy are allowed to procreate. However, other females in the pack will experience false pregnancy and develop maternal instincts towards the leaders' puppies, going so far as to lactate and nurse without ever being pregnant themselves. It's a natural nanny system that helps to ensure the survival of the next generation.

Dogs are so loyal, they don’t have to be a man’s best friend to be kind, they love their owner no matter the cause. They’re so sweet and adorable and they protect you no matter what, this dog knows what her pregnancy meant, so it wanted to stay with her everywhere making sure she’s safe, i don’t believe anybody will really read this whole thing, but it you did, just know, dogs are the most loyal things in existence, they will love you for the rest of their lives and yours too.💗💗💗

Showing lots of protection and concern behaviors. She doesn't want to miss anything or take a chance you need her and she's not there. She knows there's a baby on the way. Commenting on one of your previous videos, I wrote that Lady is an angel in disguise. Her sensitivity is tremendous. Her bond with you and hubby and baby in the belly, Olivia, is extraordinary in the literal sense of the word. You need not fret, Lady will always be there for Olivia, they will be bff's, best younger and older sisters, Olivia 's Guardian angel, and yours and your husband's as well. Lady speaks with her actions and eyes. A dog with such a beautiful soul, well all dogs have beautiful souls, but Lady 's stands out. I love Lady as if she were my own. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

A dog’s love is so precious and unconditional. She knows she is now loving 2 people. She feels she has to protect your baby from any and all possible harm. She sees this as her job now. This is now her baby to. 🥰

The dog is being protective and smelling the chemical changes during the pregnancy ergo the nesting. She's bonding more emotionally with the pregnant female of the family and she will be acting as an auntie.

One of my Pomeranians became extra, extra clingy when I was pregnant. The moment I sat on the sofa she'll jump right in and nests her head on my baby bump. When the baby came out, she'll smell and gently lick my baby's feet. She's the sweetest.
