On June 12, 2022, a Monroe County deputy observed a speeding vehicle in Key Largo, FL. When he attempted a traffic stop, the vehicle fled at a high rate of speed driving recklessly through traffic. After several miles, the vehicle finally pulled over and the driver exited saying he was a police officer.

    • Unfortunately, that's standard SOP for them. There's countless videos on KZhead showing drunk/impaired officers who are only being taken in because there was absolutely no way to sweep it under the rug, and they imply as much on the recordings. 99% of the time, they do just call someone to take them home and never report a thing. It makes my blood boil. A drunk driver took out a mother and her 3 kids just last year in my city. No one should get away with DWI. In fact, cops should be held to an even higher level of punishment, IMO.

    • The cop arresting him is also unfit. He said he was supposed to let him go essentially but unfortunately his sargeant was on scene and everybody had cameras on. so basically his hands were tied. If this was before cameras were so popular and he pulled him over without a supervisor he would have let him go.

  • This should be used as a training video of what not to do on BOTH ENDS. The arresting cps entire demeanor and attitude changed once he found out that scumbag was a legit cop. Body Cams are making the world a safer place 100%. It's amazing how important they are.

Anyone else would have been ground in the dirt under 3-4 officers, tackled, tazed and then questioned extensively to try and obtain as much evidence as possible to ensure a conviction.
