Now we need a fighter to slip through this strict protocol for profit and they won't allow it. So we are going to slander this company and go with another contractor and blame it on them for doing what we initially asked them to do.
That’s what I’m getting out of this whole situation. Such bs
USADA was the main player in the game at the time there are plenty of athletes that probably slip because they have no authority in certain countries. They have to have so many negative tests so they would over test certain athletes to make up for those they couldn’t. They took advantage of their authority and tormented fighters with intrusive blood tests during a weight cut. This new company offers testing that is just as effective if not more without being intrusive. The device is almost like diabetic testing device.
Almost, the problem is the CEO took it personally and started to slander the UFC and Connor once they were criticized. If they just did their job for their paying customers, they probably wouldn’t have lost a big client. Chael had a pretty decent video about ot
@@piopi_starjr7455 Google is your friend. Maybe do a little research before swallowing Hunter's nonsense. We KNOW the UFC asked Nate Diaz to keep quiet when he tested positive, but Nate refused. We KNOW that the UFC gave Brock Lesnar an exemption to fight at UFC 200 even though he hadn't been in the testing pool long enough. We know Brock pissed hot. The UFC has a proven history of trying to slip fighters through the testing policy. Only a fool would think that Conor doesn't get special treatment. USADA's CEO is right.

@@ronv6326 the fallout of Usada and UFC came on bad terms with Usada somewhat slandering UFC and slandering a fighter who happens to be the biggest name in mma. From what is being said by these two it seems like the UFC has been making moves on bettering anti doping within their promotion and part of that means moving away Usada which is most likely the reason Usada has responded in a hostile way rather than letting it happen in the background. They took away the chance for the UFC to release a report of any kind about this and instead they made them come out and try to protect their promotion from the misconstrued ideas Usada gave the general public/their fighters etc. Dana is a spokesperson, a leader, a decision maker but he relies on these 2 guys for solving problems or doing some of the tedious business stuff. When the leader isn't the right person to put in front of the mic and instead you opt for these guys you know 1) there could be legal implications if they say the wrong things 2) everything needs to have some sort of validity with evidence or details rather than just taking aim and saying Usada's being a bitch.
1 Conor fight draws as much as every single UFC champion combined. And that’s not an exaggeration. UFC will go to war for Conor

Saying ABC athlete is the most tested athlete in the UFC means nothing. Lance Armstrong was also supposedly the most tested athlete in the world. yeah where is big money there is also corruption Lance would never be found out if he did not come back in 2009 his arrogance and confidence screw him over

Nick failed tests though Connor hasn't. It was for shit and for a drug allowed now. They should have maybe stood up for him more back then but it's tough to say yeah we are OK with allowing our fighters to use illegal drugs no biggie. @@ryanrhoades5922Conor cant fail tests he doesnt take 😅
@pedrovskidantini2324 the logic of these Conor cucks 😂😂😂
That's exactly why they didn't want Conor pissing in a cup. and why he hasn't by now. They know they have to give him an exemption to fight but the UFC is not what it was like back in Brocks time so they can't just let him fight, so this whole thing is happening. It's actually crazy to see how far the UFC will go for one singular fighter who may or may not be absolutely washed by this point. Imagine they do all this just for him to get knocked out in one by Chandler.
@19:40 is whats being implimented half way through the statement to protect people like connor.
So, •the ufc got into slap wars, then wwe (both well known for steroid abuse and peds) •Then the ufc want to run their own testing program. •The ufc doesn't want an independent body doing testing and deciding who's eligible •The Conor McGregor comeback failure is the catalyst for this change to self regulation Is that correct? Did I say that right? Yes, Mr. Rottenborn
I don't believe them one bit. It's not very hard to see that because they wouldn't give conor a pass they decided to leave usada.
Ok and? Lol. Does that really matter? It’s a business. And at the end of the day Conor is a massive draw. I’d rather see him fighting more often than not fighting. If getting rid of USADA is what it takes then so be it.
Also you need to take steroids for rehab purposes if you go through a major injury, like snapping a bone.If you take yourself out of testing because your not fighting, but in recovery, what’s everyone upset about…I’m sure he is the most tested fighter since USADA come in….passed every test.
@@BostonsF1nestMassive draw or not, they gotta make sure he doesn't have any advantage over other fighters lets not act like he didn't grow an American Dad chin and got bigger than himself in his prime so theres plenty of reasons to test the crap out of him.

Why the edit at 24:07 ??
Nick Daiz poped for pot. Sanctioned and fined. Conner trying to come back after getting juiced. Dana said hold my beer i got you!
UFC needed USADA to advance the legitimacy of the sport and have it accepted by the public and more importantly, main stream networks. Thats happened. Now, why bother keeping them around with what they cost to test these fighters? They already have an ESPN deal in place, probably with no contingencies that they keep testing their fighters and the public by and large has accepted MMA on being socially acceptable to watch. Was only a matter of time.
because having someone testing for roids build legitimacy. Yea they don’t need to prove anything anymore because they’re global now..:but tbh majority of the fans prefer the fighters fight clean so only them and their bodies can be judged and credited for their success and not have the steroids take majority of the credit for how much it helps the body.
Glad you clarified the “ fake narrative “ because it’s SO much clearer now Hunter. “Travis lost his mind” .. without explaining why how , when. He went crazy.. apparently.
the ufc has been hella weird lately, all the way back to the prime deal theres been so many odd things happening. Not even shady necessarily just got a WWE type feeling
I agree
It's amazing you can get rid of USADA but you can't get rid of BAD Judging 😂😂😂
They have contracts with anti-doping bodies. They don’t have contracts with the commissions. The commissions are sanctioning bodies beyond the control of the UFC, and are the reason MMA wasn’t allowed in New York for the longest time
Judges are not under ufc contract
Sounds like you don’t know how fighting sports are run. State athletic commissions supply the judging. UFC have said many times that they hate some of the judging.
Judges are chosen by the commission
That’s like saying I don’t like my government. I’ll get a new one.
Well, as long as Connor doesn't fight this year, everything they said makes sense. Tons of fighters over the years have complained about USADA. The announcers have bitched about it. The teams have complained about it. No one was happy with USADA. We'll see how this goes but I'm ok with it if it's better for the fighters. And if they get injured and use banned substances to recover, I'm ok with that. They still need a 6 month wait before they can fight again. But if their recovery is only 3 months versus 9 months and then they have the 6 month wait, that's better for everyone.
We all know this was so Connor doesn’t get busted for juicing 😂
He definitely speaks like a lawyer

People clearly haven’t listened to a word these gentlemen have said. You could choose to believe they're lying but you aren't even listening. According to them, Conor was not going to be fighting prior to 6 months.
They're clearly lying. 10 years with USADA and randomly they've got major beef and it just so happens the biggest star in combat sports history is on roids and USADA is making him test. Riiiight pure coinkydink
That's just people trying to be trolls and hate on the ufc and connor it's ridiculous they diddnt watch the video ufc had an issue with usada for a while showing up to test people at 3am the day of a championship fight but everyone is gunna come on here and say they are breaking the rules for connor blah blah blah just morons looking to get some attention
Common sense responses. I’m hanging with you guys!
It’s bots, computer or human. Whether they realize it or not haha
Pretty sure the reality is Conor is a Flake and has suggested he would fight several times for which the ufc took him seriously and ufc approached usada to see how feasible getting an early fight. The talks were useless bc he never intended to fight soon and also couldn’t submit any sample earlier bc he would fail.
i've had a hard time taking the UFC's anti doping seriously after watching that you tube vid of jon jones hiding under the apron around the octogon to avoid the people coming to have him pee in a cup.
