Melissa is 100% correct about the outstanding food selections and the chef and staff catering to those with dietary restrictions. We were always quite pleased with the food choices and quality. Selections included Chateaubriand, lamb, Tuna, Salmon, beef & pork ribs, duck, steak, seafood, popular local foods, etc. plus lots of dessert choices and free wine with every meal. We are taking our 3rd Viking cruise next Spring.

My wife and I have taken 2 Viking river cruises and they lived up to the ads about food. My wife has dietary restrictions. Viking made sure she would have no problems at meal time. According to her it was like having her own private Chef.
You are so right. With such a small number of passengers, the chefs are able to accommodate lots of dietary restrictions. I am glad you enjoyed your sailing with Viking! Will you be sailing again?
