    • They are bonded in friendship and time spent together. Please adopt them to one loving home where they will be respected and cared for together ! I hope you don't consider sending one dog to Australia. Taking such a long plane trip, alone, in the baggage compartment will not be a happy ending for either dog.     • Sounds like the owners used them for breeding but could not be bothered to give them decent food,clean,comfortable environment or a bath .

    • Also the meth heads that owned them probably started the fire due to the usual methhead negligence. And, yeah, so obviously neglected previous to the fire.

  • They are both beautiful. Oma is basically a unicorn in the Great Dane world. She is a blue. They are so special and rare. Bless your hearts are I hope the get the perfect furever home(s).💕🐾💖

    • @@spiwolf6998 the story is odd though. If their house was burned down where are they living? If they’re living somewhere else why not take the dogs with them instead of leaving them there to rot? The story isn’t clear.

    • Even if their house burned down there is no excuse for abandoning these two dogs. They deserve a home just as much as the owners did. If that was me there is no way I would abandoned my dogs. The house is material thing their lives is not .

    • @@Jay41 Shelters won't let you take animals. In the California wildfires families were told to leave their pets. Some people just let them outside to fend for themselves instead of locking them up in the house while they evacuated and just hope for the best.

    • ​@@Jay41Just off the top o my head Jay, my guess is if their house burnt down, they immediately may not have had another house, but might have been staying with friends or in a hotel or apartment..and most apartments that accept pets (and not all do) have weight requirements which a Great Dane or other large dog may not meet. I once got evicted behind finding a stray Jack Russell that had abandonment issues and howled so neighbors complained. I found the doggie a home with a fam with a yard..and cried 4 three days.

    • Not just acres of land, cuz frankly these girls are in their later years, and really don't need acres. They do need someone who has a lot of time, can afford to feed them properly, can afford the vet care for 2 large breed, elderly dogs, who might need a STRONG person to lift them at times. They are wonderful dogs, but their needs are a little more now. Plus, because they were used as breeders, their bodies have been basically abused. They might be lacking in other areas, such as social skills, and their bladders might have lost muscle tone. They may never have been house trained. Adopt, don't shop.😢

    • Even randomly bred pets deserve a happier environment. Pets need to be registered (even just for health reasons) well--fed, & loved. A family member is always worth the best care we can offer......All people do not "deserve" pets (or kids) which they can't/won't love & care for. & the pets certainly don't deserve poor food (or awful housing) or neglect. The quality of the animal is formed by its environmentī😊

    • They weren't thrown away their house burned down so maybe the owners got them out of the house and then they ran away but then the owners couldn't take care of them anymore so they did the smart thing and gave them to the shelter but I don't know the full story 😅😅❤

    • @melissabenson6749 the owners may have left and abandoned them at the house after the shower but it literally said "we called the owners and they said they could no longer take care of them" so in my opinion that counts as surrendering compared to them getting them from the shelter and then leaving them somewhere

    • @@sam9-12-06 They left them outside of the burnt house, for days or weeks, a good Samaritan called the shelter bc they needed medical attention & the shelter checked ,found they were chipped & then called the "owners",it was only then they said they couldn't take them!!!

  • *I’m going to take a wild guess and say the “family” abandoned them when the house burned down. Did even have the kindness to bring them to a shelter. This is very common in Mexican neighborhoods throughout the entire southwest of this country and it’s starting to really upset me. Thanks for doing all you have for them. Hugs*
