1. Sheep and goats are herded by the same shepherd, eating from the same grass. However, when they enter the stable or are sold in the market, they will be separated. Just as all humans are shepherded by the good Shepherd - Jesus -, only not all humans enter the flock and only the sheep that hear the Shepherd will enter the kingdom of heaven. Sheep are animals that tend to group in a herd, whereas goats are more individual. Therefore, the sheep that remain in one flock will enter the kingdom of heaven. 2. Sheep is indeed used a lot in the Bible to describe its meek nature, so that it describes Christ who says "I am gentle and humble" (Mt 11:29). And sheep are also often used as sacrifices, so they are imitations of Christ, who were led as sheep to the place of slaughter (cf. Isa. 53: 7). It also illustrates how sheep produce abundant fruits, because sheep produce milk, wool, etc. Likewise those who enter the kingdom of God are those who produce abundant fruit (please see the parable of talent) and this abundant fruit is only possible if these people live in Christ, because in outside of Christ, humans cannot do anything (cf. John 15: 5). 3. Perhaps the strongest reason is because Christ Himself was called the Lamb of God (cf. John 1:36; Rev. 7). Thus the sheep represent those who follow Christ. So those who are saved are those who follow Christ, not only knowing His teachings, but becoming like Christ, that is, always doing the will of the Father. (Mt 7:21). warm regards, from Indonesia

@@tony1685 '...Bible has zero contradictions ....' The stopping of a practice is not a contradiction. In the time of Moses a man could divorce his wife; then Jesus says this practice has to stop. No contradiction; just some things are permitted for a time and purpose and then it ceases. The same with the type of Sabbath Keeping the Jews (and only the Jews) were to keep in a certian way for a period until that time and purpose was completed. This would not be an issue in Christianity until a false prophet by the name of Miller came on the scene in the 1800's and when he went away in shame and disgrace one of his disillusioned followers doubled down on it and created a whole cult around a distorted form of Sabbath-Keeping.

If the hell is only a punishment of not seeing Almighty God ( this is according to Catechism of the Catholic church revised after Vatican 2), then our Lord Jesus what he described as the place of never quenching fire that does not go out, is quite opposite to this. Jesus did not tell the place situation to the disciples as parable, because it clearly mentioned in Bible that Jesus told his disciples in plain language. And only to the public in Parables. The teaching of the Church (after Vatican 2) also opposite what our Blessed Mother showed hell to the 3 children in Fatima. She also told then that the Catholic Church will be lead astray. We have judge either Jesus is Right or the Vatican 2 is right. Anti Christ is everywhere.

There is reason why he died. Haven't you been listening. 1. The price for the sin is death. 2. It is necessary that life must have the death punishment. 3. God gave told people to sacrifice lamb and the blood of it will be ATONEMENT for the sins because God grace will consider the life of the lamb to be the price for the sins of the persons who sacrificed the lamb. 4. So God justly forgives them. 5. That was temporarily, because God planned to give them Messiah, the perfect lamb in the best time possible where the setting and all factors would make it possible for many people to know God's son and His sacrifice, and that would glorify God by showing His love to people who don't know Him. 6. Jesus came, the lamb, and he had to be God because the forgiveness to cover all peoples sin must be eternally good. Spotlessly good. He was good and holy because he was God but he also was man too. 7. His man nature died for our sins while living complete holy life. 8. Now God can forgive anyone who believe in His sacrifice and follows God and His Son. And accept the Grace of God and get salvation. Being both Just Judge and Forgiving at the same time...
