  • The amount of knowledge in that room is astronomical. You guys are about to open up a strength black hole.

    • Almost 100 years of top level strength experience combined sitting at that table. These podcasts are great even if you just want to learn.

  • I know Brian doesn’t love talking about himself, but this podcast is the prime example of how he needs too. You have too much knowledge to be so humble with it B! Go get that 5th title.

  • Anyone else still get surprised when Brian says a curse word? He’s so well spoken that when he does I always rewind the video to make sure I heard that right

    • Yeah I was searching in the comments to see if anyone else noticed! This podcast and the previous one has been maybe the first time I’ve heard Brian properly curse, definitely the first time using the F word, and I’ve been an avid follower of Brian for years now. Not to say it’s a bad thing but yeah I too was surprised and had to rewind 😂

    • Same. This episode and only one other - I think the last episode or a recent KZhead video on the main page. Maybe it’s a sign he’s fired up for title 5?

  • Great podcast guys. And Nick Best's opener of "it takes a long time to build something that's going to last" - so right. Such a statement of truth.

  • I feel like when Brian starts dropping some of those words you know he's serious and passionate about what he's talking about.

  • Love when Nick is on and I’m learning a lot about your other guests. You’re one of the podcasts i listen to during workouts to stay focused but also learn. Very introspective-thanks for taking time out of your days to provide positivity and encouragement.

  • I think the thing with Brian is, he’ll never openly say he’s no longer in his prime but he knows deep down he isn’t. But the thing that separates him is that he will fight until the very end to continue to evolve and improve. It’s something admirable about him

    • Possibly past his best, but still a huge threat to everyone else. That's saying something. 5th title is definitely still on the table.

    • With how great he is, it's not totally out of the realm that he can still win it. Zydrunas was like 39 when he won his last and Brian is only a year older than that

  • Really good to hear these things from you guys. I'm not anywhere near being a powerlifter or strongman, just someone who enjoys working out and went a little too hard when I was 18-22 years old and never once listened to my body and already feel broke by 26 on some days. I can still go and feel good working out but definitely the hardest part has been humbling myself and not just chasing that dragon of what I used to lift and how my body used to look and feel.

  • Best pod cast so far! This is meeting of master class mindsets. I could listen to them talk about this topic all day 💯 not enough conversation about preservation of one's career and too much pressure to build one regardless of consequences on your body.

  • something that I think about is that Prime Brian is not type of Athlete required anymore. We hold that to such a high standard but let's face it. the WSM is becoming less static and more explosive. I feel if Brian drops a little more weight and trains to be more explosive he's back on top again. Keep that drive for 5 B!
