The final was great. The buzz in the air was incredible.

In my country Slovenija here we dont have players and here never play tournament. But I love how boath Lukes play and special final. MVG finaly win something. But Littler was future of darts, like MVG 10 years ago. Amazing matches. Fan from Slovenija. 👍👏🇸🇮

I hate that I came to darts not long before he passed. I wish I would’ve been a fan much sooner so I could’ve watched him.

@@herschelsquirts2338 I was in the crowd that Bristow was in when he passed, could even see him from my seats and then the rumours started that he'd gone. Nobody could believe it but it was as if nobody was watching the game but instead just chanted his name throughout the night. When the crowd dispersed, the chants carried on into every street, pub and club in Liverpool.

Yeah deffo, the sport needs him big time to still be up in the top three to keep it a smaller elite group within the slightly bigger elite group. The talent pool is brimming.

Since beginning of the year all pdc highlights got much better. Its great when you don't have time to watch the whole evening.

Disappointing final quality wise, but at least the top of the table stay tightly packed
Right now with Humpries,Littler,Mvg,Cross,Price and even the Asp we have players that can throw amazing darts at any game they play it just doesn't Come out every game. Thats why i love the prem atm since everyone can Almost beat everyone.
Immediately Luke Humphries has that out of this world look in his eyes, just know it’s over and he’s winning. His comeback abilities is beautiful to watch. He’s a phenomenal player

Littler v Humphries bring out the best in each other and after that the final couldn’t quite match up but MVG did enough at key moments

I find it weird to get two points for QF victory, only one for SF then again two for final.. Is it just me? Would be better 2-2-2 or even 1-2-3. It is a bigger deal to win the final than the first round.

That would result in huge point gaps in the table. When you win the first match, you're giving youself a chance to win more points, so I don't think giving more points for later rounds would help. I actually like that the system favours players who are capable of consistently winning the QF matches.

I'm pleased to see Littler much better this week at shaking the hand of the winner in good timing and not being a sourpuss. I'm just VERY pleased Humphries didn't win it.

liddler is very special. The real measure of his age and maturity will come when he hits a bad run of results and it will come is to see if he can return to what we are seeing now. vangerwen has price has but Wright cant. some players cant but the greats can. for now littler is a pleasure to watch and he has no nerves whatsoever. how is that possible at 17. thats what makes him and humoheries unique they never get to emotional. darts have never been better but when all focus on littler its easy to forvet how brilliant humphries is

Very very hard to have back to back A game performance and you know Littler had his big game against Luke Humphreys so not surprised of a bit of a letdown in final and imagine beating Humphreys and MVG man that s a feat in itself

I imagine there was a bit of fatigue with Luke having just played 22 legs over two matches. I like the kid a lot though. The maturity he’s shown through this meteoric rise in such a short time is incredible. Meanwhile MVG is going bananas hitting a double 10 on his third dart. I know it’s always been his deal and I respect him as a player but FFS grow up already.

I swear these highlight vids always skip important legs.... like the first match why do they NOT SHOW the break to make it at 4:5 to Humphries. The whole match was building up to this lef and it just gets completely skipped....... the most important leg of the match with humphries and wright. The editor doesn't watch the matches does he.
Cross may be a nice bloke but I just cannot watch him, his rhythm is soooo painfully slow, the step off and backing away every leg. Compared to the amazing games of Littler and Hump-fries.
