It is also not green or silver, which means It is red because red is the opposite of green and is non-metallic as silver is metallic grey. SCP-055 is also not alone, Just putting that out there. It is also probably connected to SCP-4987 somehow. Also if you were able to travel the multiverse you could use the pokemon Alakazam(a pokemon whos species has memorized literally everything that happened on their rendition of earth and have 5000IQ individually), to learn the Special Containment Procedures for the entities known as SCP-055. What isn't a sphere?
There's a cool easter egg in the game *SCP: Containment Breach.* At the end of the game you get a summary of all the different achievements you've completed during your run. One of those achievements is "Recontained SCP-055", and it's always marked as completed. The player is left confused, as there's no SCP-055 in the game, ...until they realize, what SCP-055 really is. I think it's genius :D

What if we construct a list of adjacent attributes like “it doesn’t have 5 faces” and “it doesn’t have 7 faces”, thus implying it has 6 faces without identifying the number of faces it has. This way we can keep a manageable list of all the things it isn’t that outline all of the things it is. Like seeing the event horizon of a black hole. Technically we can’t see what it IS but we definitely can see riiiight around the edge of what it isn’t.

The Foundation classifies SCPs based primarily on how easy or difficult they are to contain, not how deadly they are. The chamber is classified as "safe" because nothing happens as long as nobody walks inside. The Foundation has only assigned a minimal security detail, primarily to stop anyone from wandering inside accidentally.

There’s an easy solution to this. Just make a recording describing what scp - 055 isn’t based off of its observable appearance in its cell. You’d completely avoid the anti memetic effect while at the same time getting a somewhat accurate description of it yet it wouldn’t be accurate enough to cause its anti memetic effect to make you forget it since you technically wouldn’t be describing exactly what it is.

I have 2 ideas on how to learn more about 055 1. Ask SCP-343, God, what he knows about it. He's God after all, so he must have some knowledge of it. He could even make something like a camera thats immune to 055's effects if we needed 2. Use that anomaly-proof metal they have. They made a helmet out of that stuff for tests with the Desire camera, so what if they put the helmet on a D-class again and had them go into 055's containment cell? Would they remember anything about it when they come out?

This is like not studying for a test in a nutshell
So weird. I had two disassociation episodes nine months apart in which i maintained a constant knowledge of being in reality while I was experiencing these weird storylines in my head. SCP 55 reminded me of this stupid rickroll meme that we had to create so that those containing other scps wouldn't go crazy (once you have realized that something is probably going to be a rickroll, fear stops and you think yourself silly- thus getting back to your normal day today to do list.) It related to a weird Paradox Loop I got physically stuck in- of having to logic through every possible combination or choice of actions to program stuff. But I knew nothing of computer programming past basic II. So for me it felt like a weird kind of Half-Life in purgatory in a sort of Time capsule where I was thinking much faster than everyone else around me. That dazed expression was when you're down the bad part of the rabbit hole. And you're remembering all these possible things you could have done or had done to you. (Including imagining caricatures of yourself with flaws magnified) Not able to tell whether they're your actual memories or experiences. And I found myself writing and weird short-handed super like coded writing style that didn't make sense to me but it did because in a different lifetime I had deciphered the junk DNA scientists refer to are actually little pieces of that code that we can access in certain situations and different scps can affect it in a variety of ways. And they're like really end of the punch line was that string theory is a wormhole to connect every different possible alternate reality together. But it's a maze and if you consider that there are universes in which you have made the better of two decisions and others where you made it terrible choice in the Heat of the Moment I had to go through universes that I did both. But after connecting them all I realized that music has certain frequencies and numbers can easily be reduced to a different numbering system in binary. So we all learned a morse code just by existing. Which was like way tooooo miraculous for even the hardcourt atheists 2B hardcore atheists anymore. So by getting them off the fence the amount of good in the world can increase logarithmically. Either Forest wise or like a Captain's Log. And then to the question of how pun save the universe, two guys were in a battle about string theory and the winner would get a wife. They realized it was just a little bit of loose string on the ground. Binding it where they could. Was it the answer or winner they were looking for? I'm a frayed knot, it was a tie mate.

Ok, this is how you do it. You enter the cell with mic and describe everything you see and notice. Your voice is transferred to a computer which stores the stream. Further, it can be translated to text and stored to the case file. Now you have a description. Whether you can read it and retain any knowledge about it is not a problem of storing the information.
But then you forget what you read. Even if we did have a complete document of it, no one could remember what it is after reading it. So it is basically pointless

I theorized after viewing this that wearing something made of the uhh... that one scp that blocks/greatly weakens all anomalous effects (some kind of brick or stone or metal or whatever), as has been done before, and having that on long enough - AND - to write all this information down on a SLAB of said material would be the only way conceivably to do this. If anyone would like to write a wiki entry in this format, go right ahead. I feel this is the only way

It’s pretty clear that the chamber of SCP-055 was designed to keep it clear from any kind of observation, even electromagnetic ones, unless it was extremely intentional and contained.
