    • @joshuawalker301 most likely steroids, but if you don't get caught, it doesn't count ,,, for a streght athlete he is crazy lean ,, under 10% body for athetes is actually a burden your hormones nosedive the leaner you get ,, the only ones care about that are bodybuilders because that is literally they sport..

  • Bruh all this work translates directly into MMA & striking arts specifically. I remember spending many lessons jumping side-to-side like a monkey & then practising this in my own time along with similar plyometric movements working different angles & planes. This translated in to major improvements in enhancing my already fast reflexes for closing the distance & following through & barging into takedowns & submissions. Awesome stuff you are showcasing here Brother thank you!

    • well yh different time altogether, men been corn semi feminised depending where world are since 50-70s average testosterone level men as plummeted, less exposure in womb means men literally are biologically born semi feminised and more like chicks, more feminine emotional palettes, more prone to depression that cant deal with, lower sexual libidos and sex drives, smaller cocks, easier to herd too (states experimenting with hormonal disruptors both with prisoners and soldiers in various countries) theres lotta hormonal disruptors the animal livestock eat isnt living or eating what should so livestock tends be inbred to sh*t since industrialisation of farming, ontop chemical fertilisers overused in soils pesticides so hormonal disruptors there along with less nurtrient dense fruit and vegetables than past (didnt use to eat like a cow or rabbit too get enough vitamins in....) so poor quality lifeforms consumed everywhere. trans non binary gay dudes etc have gone up partially cause of this too cause gender sexuality if not noticed is impacted by hormones, why the last son is more likely to be gay than the first something to do with less hormonal exposure in womb. plastics in environment messing hormones up. put simply culture changed cause our biology changed most big cultural shifts are seeded by an earlier biological shift either in the elites the population as a whole or whoever making the arts or is most sexually successful to influence gene expression through arts in populous. but yh dudes were genuinely built different back then, your grandfather highly likely was pound for pound stronger than you had stronger grip strength, higher libido sex drive etc.

  • These exercise drills are awesome, and so transferable to many Powersports, such as Boxing, MMA, Rugby, NFL etc.. I stumbled across this video by she coincidence, as I have been reviewing many training exercises for Olympic athletes that do shotput, hammer, javelin and discuss. These are some of the strongest most powerful people on the planet and they have some of the most comprehensive exercises that are now being reviewed by many other power sport athletes. No one can go wrong by adding some of these power sport athletes exercise drills into their own training program.

  • You are very good calling the languages used in Switzerland. To be precise it is mainly a southern German dialect only official there, then French and a minority speaks an ancient Italian version which is almost extinct and completely different to that spoken in Italy. So I guess it was easy to translate the French video but more difficult to get the Suisse German translated. I am not from Switzerland but share their German dialect.

  • A super good historical account of exercise science. Interestingly the key concepts of what is demonstrated here can also be found on Temple & Monastery walls all over the World such as: India; Thailand & China. The 72 gongs of Shaolin (a skill attained through diligent disciplined habitual practice) incorporates every aspect of what is demonstrated here yet for a very specific end goal & the fact that dynamic trunk control is required for a specific gong or static hold before an explosive movement is only a biproduct of the journey to the end goal. Absolutely fascinating! Thank you for this. I wonder when you will have your athletes wrestling on top of stakes & bear hugging solid trees in an attempt to up route them :::)) Thank you.   • 5:13 - this was a thing that people practised back in Arnold's days already. The effect were obvious - the mechanisms were mysterious . And they probably got the idea from strongmen of the 19th century... It's amazing how time proven techniques stop being used unless some nerd pays for a lab writing session. You also make no distinction between active isometric holds (shown on video) and stretchy stretches(in the science paper) ... totally different things.

    • I saw an interview of his on youtube a few years ago, where he casually bench pressed the journalist at the end, with balance and control, making it look so easy and safe. I think he is good.

  • You need to accepted that training with heavy weights is counterproductive for developing athletic power. We want to develop speed/power athletes an not strongman. Especially speed is a unique and it's very sensible.
