  • I'm from Germany and I grew up knowing about the royal family, Harry and William were always in the papers and magazines, it's ridiculous that Meghan claims that because she's American she didn't know much about the royal family. Nevermind the fact that she lived in Canada for quite some time, too.

    @franniepan@franniepan4 ай бұрын
  • What irritates me about MM is that despite her self-proclaimed 'whip smart' intellect, she perpetually claims ignorance of every aspect of H's life, country, culture, etc. She then proceeds to blame said ignorance on being American. That's not an excuse! I don't actually believe she really was ignorant of those things, she simply did not want to comply with expectations and now needs an excuse to explain her failure to adapt. But, if she truly was so incredibly ignorant about Harry, his family and country, she shouldn't have married him until she did learn about those things, especially given his family's prominence.

Also, he was never drug tested and got out of it by saying he had to go home for business, after, he had just come back from a leave. So yes, he had advantages that others did not while serving.

  • I saw an interview of a serviceman who knew Harry while at the military base and he said that whenever Harry went out, there were always at least 2 special units that would go out in front and behind him or often fly above him so he was well protected. I'm not taking anything away from him, it's a fact that he was a high prize target so extra effort would have been made to capture him. This also means that there were many brave men and possibly women that put their lives in danger to allow Harry the opportunity to serve.

  • Harry was very well protected while in Afghanistan...he even had his own contingent of 7 gurkhas to protect him. They didn't want a repeat of what happened with Andrew, who wasn't given special protection during the Falklands war and the palace found out after the fact. William was prevented from being deployed for the same reason and was pushed to do more safe work, which is why he did 2 years as a search and rescue pilot. Prince Philip was a decorated war hero in the navy, and Queen Elizabeth was an ambulance driver during the Blitz in London because she was too young to enlist. Harry always overstates his military experience but it's actually laughable that he would say he is the only one in the family that has military experience.

He also details the training he was put through as part of the army and I think a lot of it was meant to break him down and rebuild him (the typical stressful training excercises that can mimic some forms of torture, e.g. being stripped naked, had his dick laughed at, blindfolded, music blared at him underground, put in the stress position, arms behind his head for hours, have horrible stuff about his mum yelled at him, alongside the other people in the army also getting the same treatment). Sure, I don't think he was on the front lines and I think he was very well protected, but it does appear that he had the same harsh training and lived on base in the same way the others did and commanded air strikes in stressful situations and so on.

I imagine myself there in the mix, supporting the team and having to be and say things which are not accurate for the sake of the narrative and that’s is very intoxicating. But they sacrifice a lot of integrity in so doing, and I don’t know if they will ever realise it. They are in it, and structurally/emotionally they are left with little wiggle room. Just gotta watch each other and manage it. Not saying they don’t believe it, but there’s a lot missing and also the anger, his anger. And with her she is carried by the excitement of a position in history and self importance of Harry needing her.

The waitress greets them and is telling them where to go, and MM is very dismissive of her while Harry is looking at her and listening. I don’t have a stance on either of them any which way but I am always observing how people treat others (hence why I find myself on your channel). He was meeting with some other royals. Other princes and again. There was ladies telling them where to go, and stand. Lady tell Harry, you walk this way, Megan you walk this way.and she so wanted to ignore her. She couldn't because the lady got in her face and directly told her to walk THIISSS way. She was assigned to her, by the Queen, her most trusted aide to help her and guide her through any difficulties. She also had 7 other aides assigned to her to advise in different ways, whom she bullied, belittled and degraded, until they said they felt traumatised by her, so much so that they left the jobs they had been in for years. She refused help from all who offered it, including Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Sofia, Countess of Wessex, even the late Queen broke protocols in order to accommodate her. There was no excuse for her ignorance they were all there to help her fit in. The problem was her. 1; She didn’t want to fit in, she had no intention of staying in the UK to be a working member of the Royal Family 2; It boiled down to just basic good manners, which unfortunately she didn’t have. Never having been taught to show respect. Never having been taught to eat with a knife and a fork, instead of just a fork, which a lot of Brits find strange. She not only ignored protocol, she did her utmost not to comply with what was required. She said she didn’t know how to curtsy, yet clearly performed a decent curtsy in one of the episodes of Suits. She had to Google the National Anthem? Well she had her claws into Harry from 2016 and knew full well he was a member of the Royal Family and singing the NA would be required at some stage, so she had plenty of time to see it, understand it and learn it. Although she and Harry must have forgotten the words at the Queen’s funeral as they both had their mouths clamped shut when everyone else was singing it. Perhaps it threw them because the word Queen had been substituted with King.

In fact, I think “Finding Freedom” goes into details better that the docuseries and “Spare.” The reason is that there is a more sinister reason for the docuseries and “The Spare.” Harry is gradually getting more frustrated as this saga proceeds! And reading the book you get a completely different concept of Harry’s story than when Harry talks about the book! The reason, someone else without the hate and animosity wrote the book! The book presents Harry as having a really wonderful childhood!!

  • As an actress, Megan should be familiar with researching for different characters and roles she played. There is no excuse for not knowing what was expected of her. I think she just felt very inadequate and tried to hide it by not accepting any advise and help. That is consistent with her talking constantly about strong, ambitious, smart women. For her to ask and accept help would be admitting that other people know more than her and she would percieve that as weakness.

Most grown, single individuals seeking a serious relationship would undoubtedly take this step to make the most of their time. I'm 34 years old, and all my friends who are approximately my age always check on their prospective dates before arranging to meet them. • I’m from the uk. When she got married the media was saying wonderful things about her. We loved her and thought she was beautiful. It was her bending the rules, not wearing appropriate clothing or doing things royals didn’t usually do that the media picked up on etc. Her personality didn’t help her at all because personality I feel like Americans are a lot more easier to read when they’re being fake. Brits tend to be more subtle with their actions or facial expressions. (Not saying Americans are fake it’s just easier to see it for us) The reason the media got so out of hand is because the articles were getting tones of views and magazines were getting a load of sales with the hate towards her so the more attention they got the more they were produced. The majority of us think she’s disrespectful towards our culture and don’t like her at all. (If we liked her the media articles wouldn’t have got clicks and the magazines wouldn’t have sold so they would have moved on. That’s how it works) They can blame the media all they like but she refuses to look at herself and ask herself the real questions as to why they really picked on her. She thought it was because she is of colour but not once did they mention her skin colour from the things I saw. It was all to do with her manners, or what she was wearing. Of course she goes back to Oprah to complain because let’s face it in America she’s going to find a lot more people who side with her as they don’t understand the English culture, she clearly doesn’t either and even after being taught still doesn’t which is why I feel like we see some contempt from Harry. He must have tried hard to help her fit in but he just couldn’t in the end. He doesn’t look happy at all through this and even when he was doing military work when he was younger he seemed to be bursting with life. Her obsession with being in the spotlight needs to stop because she’s dragging him down with it and it’s very sad to see.

    • See, I've always been fairly neutral when it comes to Meghan. She isn't my type of vibe but I have never seen reason to dislike her either. The not following royal protocol stuff was mostly false, with Kate or the Queen herself having done the same things but the press would spin things differently for Meghan (although worth noting they did the same with Kate in the early days too). I agree though, that people just ate up the negativity and so they press created more and more stories. That said, I mentioned last week that I have a bit of an OTT personality to override anxiety etc so perhaps I would be less aware of similar instances in Meghan. I think the reality with her is somewhere in the middle of the polarized views. I certainly wouldn't trust any media when it comes to any celebrity or royal. Far too many people out to make money or can benefit their own coverage from selling stories or being a "trusted source".

In the US, there is no misunderstanding that BLM and the “me, too” movement is a politically left stance, so exceedingly political. Topical can be apolitical, but Meghan has proved herself to be interested in moving in political circles. The monarchy is head of state, but represents everyone, and so works with charities and causes that don’t have a political bent. She came in to the Royal family with her own agenda, didn’t read the room, and had no interest in investing in Harry’s culture….this became pretty obvious with her behaviour, and that is what caused the Brits to turn on her….absolutely nothing to do with race. And, just as Spidey emphasized with the Harry Potter clips, all she had to do was ask!! It isn't that hard. She could have asked Harry or another member of the family, or she could have asked a staff member. The buck stops with him. When two people from different countries start dating, they typically learn about each other's cultures, beliefs, employment, lifestyle etc. during their courtship. Lovebirds usually want to know every minute detail they can about each other during that period. How entitled did Harry feel that he seemed to think it was down to the rest of his family to educate his partner on everything from needing to bow before the Sovereign to basic Royal duties including activities such as walkabouts? As if he didn't know that the women in his family have their fashion and style scrutinised by the media and a global audience? He has managed to write an entire book about everything he hated, struggled with or had to fulfil as a Royal - and the intense scrutiny Diana faced under the microscope of the media AND public - yet Meghan was apparently left clueless. The blame for Meghan's lack of preparation for Royal life lies with her husband. He had a responsibility to fully prepare her for his world, as she would have had to educate and prepare him for the US. He failed, and she has suffered for it. Once he accepts that his shoulders bear the burden of that blame, he can hopefully start realising that he is not a victim but the root cause of her problems. The man didn't even bother to meet her father before proposing yet moaned about having to ask the Queen for permission. The UK media seemed to turn on the couple after Meghan's family starting courting the press and complaining. Yet Harry seems to blame the media for talking to relatives he himself failed by not bothering to socialise and get to know them in person during his courtship with Meghan.

Now maybe the reason it wasn’t mentioned is because there wasn’t much body language to support my claim but my claim is based mostly on common sense. The clip I’m referring to is when she is talking about her wedding and she explains that she knew there would be lots of people at the castle, but what she “didn’t know is people would be lining both sides of the street.” She even adds details like her mom apparently saying to her “what is going on here?” Meghan tells this story with a bit of excitement in her voice, but I have a very hard time buying her story. There is hours and hours of William/Kates wedding, from every vantage point possible, all available to her. She can probably get family copies of that wedding that most the public will never see. I just don’t think it’s reasonable to believe that with this perfect example of what you might be able to expect with your own wedding that you didn’t watch any of the Williams/Kate wedding. I have to believe she would have watched the William&Kate wedding hundreds of times just to get ideas for her own wedding. Seeing Meghan tell this lie with such ease and enthusiasm makes me believe she is a skilled liar. Meghan is so consistently dishonest and seems to lye about such small details that it makes you wonder what she won’t lie about. Unfortunately, you have to draw the conclusion that if there is any motivation for her to lye about something she won’t skip a beat. 34:47

  • I'm not sure if you have already done a video on it, but their engagement interview is soo interesting too. I noticed in it that, Meghan was very much in the driving seat the entire time. Harry would look for confirmation a lot, and whenever she would break eye contact with him and look at back at the interviewer, Harry would pretty much stop talking as if it were a cue for him to stop his answer and that she was ready for the next question. Also noticed there was an instance in there where she looked back at the interviewer and Harry didn't stop for a few seconds, she then looked away to the other side and looked kinda annoyed that he was still talking. It was just so fascinating to see, and definitely has a lot to unpack! I would seriously love if you could do a video on that interview if you haven't already.

I still support them and love them, but it’s exhausting and frustrating. I have also learned that the only way to have peace is to never speak my mind. I wonder if Harry is in a similar boat.

    • I can relate to this. My SIL was a very similar personality and family functions were always laced with anxiety for us all, treading on eggshells the whole time in case she took offence and got upset. ( Of course she could be breathtakingly insensitive to us in her comments ! ). We knew it would make life difficult for my brother when they got home later on. Exhausting is a good word for it. They are divorced now, each with a new partner, and I can't tell you the difference in family parties etc. Far more relaxed and less tiring. It's odd how much one person can influence the whole group.

Because when Harry talks about how the decision to have him leave went about makes me think offices talked to each other but not the person per day. Also the cottage they were giving to live… total not it. Without them saying, these are my words, based on my life experiences. Rarely when you shine more than your boss, the end result is your promotion or continue support towards your success but the opposite until you part ways. Just bringing it to my own experiences. I can see them being shunned. Honestly. These are powerful people that are head of states. I don’t see them loosing time with details and accommodating people. I refer you to the videos by Lady Colin Campbell on this subject as she has her own reliable sources of Info. She also has personal experience with a narcissistic relative. She wrote a book about it, worth reading- Daughter of Narcissus. Many therapists have written to her & confirmed that from what they have seen, Meghan fits the personality disorder. If you’re uncertain or willing to have an open discussion it would indicate that you’re speaking of opinion not fact. Ex: you would never say “my name is probably Michaela” you know this to be true. We don’t use “probably” if we know for a fact what we’re saying is true. Also always remember baseline. Some people are naturally more open minded, so they use “probably” or “in my opinion” more often to leave room for debate naturally. He does not Thanks for watching 😊

I remember there being plenty of "show" that he was treated the same as other soldiers, but come on he's a Prince. Do u honestly believe that our monarchy would really allow that? I do believe he has some serious issues surrounding his parents. If u take what happened to his parents & apply it to anyone child in the world, I don't think any of them would not have "issues" for want of a better phrase. Harry's are just out there for the whole world to see. Or read. I think raising awareness is extremely important if u have the ability. Andrew flew helicopters and was quite a hero during the Falklands war. Prince William, although he couldn’t serve in the forces, (as he is the heir to the throne) served as a search and rescue helicopter pilot, saving lives in dangerous circumstances! It’s been said by many (including a genuine war hero Trevor Cult) that Harry was highly protected, never served on the front line, and had a nickname “bunker Harry”. He gave a pledge to serve and honour HMTQ, and his country. He broke that pledge. He also as patron, failed to show up to an event for injured/killed U.K. military vets, preferring on the same evening to attend a Disney red carpet event, where he “touted” his wife for voice over work! Bragging about his service and kill count is quite appalling.

Hearing Harry speak about the difficulties and stresses of being a part of the Royal family, I get that it is not for everyone, and it certainly wasn’t a role his wife found conducive to her happiness. However, I wish they stopped trying to blame everything and everyone for their inability to fit that life and their desire to move away from it. Another thing that has popped into my mind after the endless complaining in interviews, podcasts, series, book, articles, and the unkindness with which they constantly speak about the Waleses, is how much harder it must be for William and Katherine to carry themselves with such dignity and grace, under the constant attacks and the pressure of being the future King and Queen consort, and while bringing up their young family. I don’t believe one needs to pick sides and can actually feel compassion for both parties in this situation.

The Royals usually have to wave at crowds for a considerable length of time and so to wave heartedly in the usual manner would take a lot of energy and would become very tiring very quickly. If you look at how the late Queen waved, you can see it was a very minimal gesture, raise the arm and wave only the forearm back and forth or the even just the hand. I'm sure that if she was unsure what to wear to an audition, she would ask. & 2) she repeated wardrobe missteps knowing they were missteps. Harry's explanation of how he resolved his costume problem tells me that he was forced, likely by his father, to speak to the Rabi and the Survivor. His, "I could have just moved on" comment tells me that he feels put out by having to speak with them and that he didn't value those conversations. I do believe he is sincerely ashamed for wearing that uniform because it reflected poorly on his character. There were media reports, at the time of Harry's military service, that he was kept in a relatively safe place due to him being a high profile target for the enemy. That seems logical. I believe most bride would say "when I got to the church, temple, etc." That is the building that brides associate with their weddings. Meghan very much wanted to remind viewers that she was married on castle grounds.

    • And let’s not forget that she was asked specifically to dress in a certain harmonious way and she deliberately refused. I wouldn’t want that irritation in my family. There is a series videos about the violations Megan committed and the tunes that she was told no. Interesting prospective. Megan was s headache from the hit go including when she thought Harry was not interested and she invited herself to events to embarrass him

    • @@JanWindsong It's likely she's used bad behavior to gain attention for a long time. It's disappointing that it was tolerated for so long.
