The Wydra is amphibious, I launched it off the port at jungle rock island and it does float. There is also a way to make it faster, add a turbo replace the ECU with the race ECU, and lower the final drive as low as it will go, and it becomes quite a zippy little vehicle that goes 40 mph.
I would never drive that thing at 40mph in real life lol
But the fastest version already goes faster than 40 mph so who cares?
@@eightohthreefilms I thought the only way to make it go faster than 40 was leaving the transmission in neutral and letting it coast down a steep hill?

You and Neil took very different approaches to the update and both did it perfectly.
He had a bit more time with getting it early. Mine was basically a first impression.
I believe that the markings on the rock is to let ppl know the difficulty of the trail
It would be cool to see some none off road vehicles try and cope with the new map, what car lasts the longest.
It’s a great update and looks fun (I don’t have BeamNG) and the cars are the obviously the toughest cars in the game. We needed some good off road cars with a good suspension and motor. Doesn’t driving on the highway in the map look like The Long Drive?

Also, one thing that rerally annoys me about the new update is the fact that the rangebox and transfer case on some vehicles are controlled by one button, i really liked the old system where each had their own button. :(
Remember that the bloom effect has been reworked, so that’s why bright lights or sun reflections look so blinding and realistic
One thing that sucks about having the Humble Bundle version is that I have to wait a few weeks to get the update. Thanks for the teaser, though.
Random parts with these new vehicles would be fun to see :)) See what kinda of wacky configurations you will get. Also love the content keep up the good work:)
When I started driving around on this map, it reminded me so much of the dunes by the coast where I live. Everywhere is drivable, the large open 'plains' of sand. It's just great.
This little game has come so far from when I found it in 2014. The graphics, gameplay, everything. This game is gorgeous and a lot of people could take some notes on the damage and driving physics

I feel like last updates were making new features, now the devs are playing around with them
Rock crawling for me is very entertaining in beamng special when you do it realistic (slow) it's fun, for me seeing suspension do it's job is very satisfying

A really generous update (0.27), and free (if you own the game). Other game developers want an extra fees for updates, but not the BeamNG drive team. Respect! :) I think it's hard to choose just one out of the new vehicles, because they each have their advantages. To me the design of the Stambecco is the most impressive, but it only has app. 130 horsepower. For both road racing and dune hopping, the added Autobello _Baja Extreme_ is a lot of fun, and a bit more agile than the new Dunekicker.

There are also two new variants of the Hopper (the Gecko and Rock Racer), as well as an off-road version of the regular D45 ambulance
I also thing the d series rock racer is new.
I think, if I could only have one of these cars, it'd be the truck, (forgot it's name...) I just really like trucks like that, relatively small, but powerful! I really want to see the fire truck and police version of it! Great video Camodo, enjoyed it as usual! ;D

If I had to choose one, I'd take the Stambecco, no doubt. It's a great truck.

I would choose the Autobello Piccolina. For 1 simple reason. I own a classic VW Beetle IRL and it's my favorite car. And the car most like my IRL car in game is the Piccolina. I love that little bug.

it is the best
I wish the Stambecco had more tuning parts to it, 115 hp and 192 ft-lbs of torque for the turbo diesel and 101 hp and 140 ft-lbs of torque for the ones with the gasoline engine seem too underpowered for such a heavy vehicle.
It's not really that heavy but it was never meant to be a performance vehicle, just a reliable transporter with as few breakable parts as possible.
