Big commitment but big rewards, Molly has a very special life and does everything with us , in over 4 years the longest she has been alone is 5 hours , she comes on all family day trips and holidays

How much do one of these dogs cost? And how much to feed them? I researched a bit awhile ago, and if I remember the breed was great around children? Brought to South Africa by the Dutch or breed by the dutch to protect the farm?
The cost of the dog is know where near the amount of owning one , food we spend $80 to $100 a week but we feed a lot of raw and cooked meat and supplements You could feed a premium kibble but I wouldn’t want to eat the same thing every day . Boerboels were created if that’s the right word to use in South Africa by the Dutch who took various breed over there

Molly is from Williams Line Boerboels, & Skystorm Boerboels We got her at 11 weeks from Skystorm and she was already toilet trained , so clever
They are loving with family members, and gentle and playful with children. But as their guard dog role suggests, Boerboels are fiercely protective when they suspect a threat to their home or people. They require consistent training and socialization from an early age so they are manageable and well mannered. This is why you don't train them to test you. Great dog but not toy
