A KZheadr had his pilot’s license revoked for crashing a plane on purpose. Trevor Jacob has over 130,000 subscribers on his KZhead channel, where he posts his adventures. It’s a plane crash from December 2021 that has Jacob in hot water with the Federal Aviation Authority. After an investigation, the FAA has revoked Trevor Jacob’s private pilot certification, saying the crash was “egregious and intentional.”
A pilot’s license isn’t just a privilege, it’s a badge of responsibility in aviation.
Seems like a pretty responsible way to demonstrate a crash.
FAA
just like every other license
Yeah yeah yeah - same for a car. lol
As a wise man once said: with great power comes great responsibility
This guy is nuts. A Pilots License is a responsibility; terrible act.

The danger provoked is egregious. The damage done to that hillside could've been monumental, specially in a fire prone year like this one. I hope he is fully liable for the clean up.
He hired a private cleanup and disposed of the evidence before the FAA was even alerted

This was a stunt, pure and simple. Anyone who says otherwise doesn’t know anything about aviation. In addition to the revocation of his pilot’s license he should have been sued by the FAA to recover the cost of investigation and incurred a civil fine for destroying evidence in a federal investigation.
Nah. a stunt would be a "calculated" risk. This here was just outrageously stupid and risky. This moron belongs in jail for endangering everybody within gliding range of his 'kinetic bomb' as well as for the environmental pollution of a national park.

Duhhhh
@@montysmith6355 Not sure about that. He did something stupid, definitely, but he hurt nobody and cleaned up the mess himself. Years in prison seems a bit extreme, when people committing actual crimes against innocent people don't even get that.

It was really cool seeing the whole aviation community come together to out that dude
I know, right?! I absolutely loved it. My dad's best friend has his pilot's license and he was like, "I don't know if it's this generation or because he's on social media, but I have no respect for him at all, that was damn reckless and he could have gotten someone killed".
Yep

From a video I saw of the seller of the plane, it was a very sentimental machine to him, and he thought that Trevor was gonna take care of it. For him to see the plane in that state is without a doubt, devastating. Wouldn’t blame him for holding a grudge against Jacob.
That's terrible, to some people, they're just machines, but planes and cars have a lot of sentimental value for many people. I know if someone hurt our ford explorer, which is affectionately named Diamond, I'd mess them up lol.
Inanimate objects have feelings "vibrations." The plane was abandoned, and the plane was never expecting that. You broke that plane's heart.

It seems like simply yanking his pilots license isn't enough of a punishment. A number of tragedies beyond a crashed plane could've happened. Could've started a wild fire. Could've killed wildlife. Could've killed hikers or campers.
But nothing happened no big deal stop complaining
Intentionally crashing an aircraft is a felony in the United States. Hope they’re doing more than just revoking his pilot’s license.
I sense a visit from the NTSB in his near future, if they haven't already.
Yes!!! Criminal charges need to be thrown at him
Did you see the oppressor behind him though
This! The amount of risk he created for other people is criminal. The risk of fire and the possibility of the plane gliding into a populated area. It “ looked” like he was in the middle of nowhere because he edited out the shots that showed a housing development on the other side of the mountain. The glider ranger of that plane was enough to get to a safe landing and populated areas.
@@theblackleafninja3858 Huh?
The FAA was correct in their decision. Luckily he filmed himself committing a crime, and then uploaded it to the internet for all to see how stupid and irresponsible his actions were on that day.

This is the kind of client who gives lawyers brain damage.
This took "For the Content" to a whole new level
As a non-pilot I’m watching this and thinking: Doesn’t that plane have to hit the Earth somewhere 🤔
The entire aviation community saw this coming from over a mile away.
And the skydiving community.
@@loro1rojo and the gaming community
And the LGBBQ community.

I remember this guy. He went viral because his best friend past and I think he recorded it. His friend was base jumping and fell to his death. Then his girlfriend left him for being immature. See he still hasn't grown up.
Based on Jacob's response, the FAA only revoked it for 10 months. Pretty stupid
He should have been charged, fined and jailed.
I blocked him on KZhead after finding out about this. We don't put up with careless behavior that endangers others. As a locomotive engineer that puts safety first and foremost I never subbed to his channel, never will.
dont think he cares not supporting but just saying
I wouldn't even know how to block someone, but if ever there was a fool deserving to be blocked he's a poster child for a total shutdown of his channel.
Explain how you blocked him. KZhead doesn't have that feature. I know some computer browser extensions can block channels, but that doesn't help when watching KZhead on the mobile app or TV app, etc.
@@PSYCHOBEVO i clicked on his channel, clicked a button in the top right hand corner and selected Block
@@PSYCHOBEVO youtube does have that future but all it does i think is that the blocked person cant comment on the blockers channel
The desperation people have for internet validation is crazy
Never allow this crazy man to do any kind of Irresponsible act in future that can cause danger to others
Maybe KZhead should also revoke his ads revenue too 🙄
HE FINALLY GOT HIS 🙏 we've all been waiting for this moment...

Huge props to the FAA for taking the actions that they did.
Heh, props.
Anyone else come here because they wanted to see the footage but didn't want to give this criminal the views?
What a great way to promote your KZhead channel.
