Yoko Ono didn't broke up the beatles but she sure as hell helped to keep them apart
John Lennon didn't snort heroin with his first wife Cynthia or with the other three Beatles. It started in 1968 when he got seriously involved with Yoko Ono. It estranged him furthermore to Paul, George and Ringo. Besides Yoko was constantly in the Beatles recording sessions unlike Patti Boyd, Cynthia Lennon, Maureen Starkey, Jane Asher or Linda Eastman.
Yoko Ono did break up The Beatles. She is evil. Her purpose was to destroy The Beatles and John Lennon. She achieved both.
She put a wedge not only between John and Julian but with his Liverpool loved ones....his sisters....his aunties, P 10:02 Paul....his friends, he grew up with.
I think you meant to say brake.......
I say you are correct and its sicker than what all Yoko was about@@lucone2937 it is so vulvar I refuse to write the real reason she sent John off with May Pang. Just grosses My head out beyond civilized words.
The saddest part for me is how badly she treated her stepson, and the bloody glasses on the album cover can't have been good for any of the children.
she is evil and cold hearted and completely money hungry
I'll never not giggle at Chuck Berry's shocked reaction to Yoko's random kookaburra impression.
Chuck Berry was "WTF" for about three seconds on his facial expression, but immediately went back to jamming with John. Like John, Chuck had his problems with women as well (he was charged for violating the Mann act in 1959, which landed him in jail, and he installed a camera in the women's restroom at his Missouri night club so he could spy on them as they went to the bathroom. He got charged with a summons for that incident.)

I believe that Yoko was a narcissist who exploited John's weaknesses for her own benefit.
It's all John fault he studied too much mysticisms and nonsense when he should've studied Jesus Christ
yep, that sums up yoko perfectly, shes a horrible creature.
Well, John did lose his mother at a young age. Plus, his ex Cynthia and Yoko were both older than him, so he might have a thing for older women. Maybe he married them to have a maternal figure, in his life. It kinda makes sense.
Whoever muted her mic, is a beautiful person.

Julian Lennon was very pure hearted. She didn't need to be so mean,

Yoko Ono is one good example of someone who peaked in highschool

Too bad her 'peak' was comparable to a cowpie.
Idk about highschool, but maybe peaked in middle school or elementary school.
her actions are digusting but that doenst. relate to peaking in high school lmaoooooo
Bold of you to assume she's ever had a high point
For me, yoko controlled john. While he was with may pang during his lost weekend, John visited many of his friends like paul, mick and other and also his ex-wife cynthia and his son julian. When he was with yoko again, he became isolated again from his friend.
Yoko personally picked May Pang to go out with John during their experimental separation in 1973-75. May didn't want to interfere at first, but Yoko insisted that John needed a girlfriend to go out with him. After reluctantly going out with John the first time, she eventually liked to be out with John more often . When John & Yoko reunited in 1975, Yoko deliberately broke up the friendship with John & May, though they did briefly see each other before John's 1980 murder.
Yoko Ono totally controlled John. This involved the dark arts. She is literally a witch. She used to go to witches meetings in New York, driven there by her chauffeur.
She did control him. The million dollar question is why???
@@MrBruinman86 Some anti-Beatle fans do have an answer, but most pro-Beatle fans criticize it as racist and sexist. Being a powerful Japanese woman does have an effect on some people. Besides, her dad was fairly wealthy when she was growing up while John grew up in a working class section of Liverpool (though not as poor as Ringo Starr, who was in the "Dingle" section of Liverpool, which was considered a Liverpool-based ghetto.) John's father also abandoned him as a child, and eventually so did his mother, though John worshipped his mother and mourned her when she died tragically in 1958 after being in a hit-and-run incident with an off-duty cop. John had to spend much of his growing up with his kind, but strict Aunt Mimi, and he became rebellious as a result. I would call all of this as a class-based difference between John and Yoko, they were definitely two very different people before they met in an art gallery in 1966, and John's life wasn't ever the same ever again. It should also be known that John was taking many acid trips in 1966-1969, when he finally kicked the habit. You can hear his side of the painful withdrawl from John's point of view in his 1969 song "Cold Turkey." Witchcraft, or "Wicca" to many followers is a very real thing, and many practicing witches and sorcerers do insist on having equal rights like any other human being. It's pretty much like the LGBTQ human rights movement. Yoko may very well be practicing black magic or white magic, like any other witch. It's her private business, though. Real witches, after all are not like fictional TV/movie witches like Samantha Stevens, Sabrina Spellman, or Luz Noceda (from "Owl House") in real life. They take their practicing seriously, and insist they are like anyone else in society. They just want to be tolerated, not scorned.
@@MrBruinman86 That is easy to answer ... To destroy The Beatles and him. She achieved both. The Beatles were born to give love, light and high artistry to humanity. The dark side, who Yoko works for, did not want his.
Her "conceptual art" is another huge reason for her unpopularity, I know it is for me.
That’s NOT art !
"Art"
Her “art” reminds me of what comedian Woody Allen once said: “If a man walked onstage in front of a group of people and vomited there would certainly be someone in the audience who would call it art!“ 🤢🤮
@@AudiophileTommy More like, "fart".
She was a mediocre artist at best. Do you see any of her works or films in art museums?
When Lennon fell in love with Yoko, that was the beginning of the end for the Beatles.
There was no need for any more Beatles music. They had a fantastic run and stopped while they were on top. Although it’s not as great as the Beatles, they each have interesting solo albums which I have recently begun to enjoy a lot. Especially Double Fantasy
IT WAS ALSO THE BEGINING OF THE END OF JOHNS LIFE,12 YEARS LATER HE WOULD DIE,AND I KNOW DAMN WELL YOKO WASNT WORTH DYING OVER!!!!!!

John was an ass. Forcing his bandmates to endure her while they were working was just his ego in full bully mode. He KNEW how much she irritated everybody, but enjoyed busting their chops. Paul should have just walked out and told John that when he was serious about working...without Yoko present...to call him. Otherwise, buh-bye for good.
Linda was there, too. And Yoko didn't really disturb them while recording. Most of the time she was in the corner chatting with Linda or doing silent hobbies like crocheting, which wouldn't get picked up on the mic, when they were recording.
I love him to death but that's fng true like why??

I think Yoko would've been more likeable if she had any discernible musical talent and basic respect for Mr Lennon and his family. I don't blame her for the Beatles breakup but I definitely cannot abide by her overarching need to impose herself everywhere.
THIS! YES!
You are wrong. Yoko Ono did destroy The Beatles.
She's a narcissist. That's it, plain and simple.

@@tjcint well, imho, she surelly pushed the band who already in the edge to break up. I heard The Beatles last session and recording, and Yoko also there, she suddenly screaming screeching calling John's name like Pterodactyl 😂😂 Even listening to it is getting on my nerves
The Chuck Berry incident was so embarrassing and awful. What were people thinking even having her microphone switched on in the first place? Theres videos that focus on Chucks reaction and he wasn't amused . As much as I love John its a shame he turned into a soy boy simp for Yoko
now, now...there's a technique to dismantling the psychology of a genius. she knew exactly what she was doing. can't disagree with your comment though
I stand with Julian on this matter. I hope Sean will repair the unjust actions of his mother after her passing
I thought the way she did Julian is unforgivable!
According to recent sources - fortunately Julian and Sean are close and they inspire each other with their artistic works. I'm glad to hear that.
i hope that too. Well find out who he is later.
I've often wondered what John ever saw in Yoko but then I remember the saying, Love is deaf, dumb and blind...and, in some cases, stupid!!
No, Yoko Ono pissed off Beatles fans just one time: one continuous, never ending time.
Yoko is a no talent anti-artist. She latched onto talent, that doesn't equate to her having talent.
Just sounds like John was heavily co dependent on her. And she took advantage of that to get what she wanted out of the situation. Shitting on Paul’s music is just so delusional. He is one of the greatest songwriters of all time.
Especially delusional when coming from one of the most untalented "artists" of all time
The one where Yoko did her stepson Julian dirty is unforgivable! That's terrible that he had to use his inheritance money to buy back his father's personal possessions! Shouldn't she let Julian and Sean decide about John's stuff before she auctioned them off?
yoko reveled in doing rotten stuff to nice people
She's too selfish to include them!
She couldn't control John if he was in the Beatles, she knew what she was doing.
Yoko should not take the blame for the Beatles breakup although she did encourage John to take the first step to leave the band. But she definetly blocked any chance of a reunion as she isolated John from his family and former band mates. I wonder how things could have been much better if John had stayed with May Pang, wich is such a nicer person.
Regardless of her influence over John, she's just a plain bad artist. Experimental, conceptual or otherwise.
I dunno some of it made you think. And peace isn't a bad concept to promote. But the rest well they can keep the bagism and stuff. But she was and is out there. The light heading towards the heavens in Iceland is a great idea and so is the memorial in Central Park. They were Yoko's ideas. She had some good ones.
About those songwriting credits "Give Peace a Chance" was credited to John Lennon & Paul McCartney in all Lennon singles, compilations and live albums in 1969-1986. Originally it was Lennon's way of thanking McCartney for helping him record "The Ballad of John and Yoko" in 1969. It was recorded without George Harrison and Ringo Starr. Since the 1990s "Give Peace a Chance" has been credited only to John Lennon. Paul didn't have a problem to admit that is was written by John. When McCartney and Lennon wrote songs together, they usually completed each other's songs with various kinds of ideas like melodies, lyrics, instruments, etc. That's why it was a simple solution to use "Lennon-McCartney" credits even if some Beatles songs were originally written like 90 % of Paul and 10 % of John, or vice versa. It helped them to contribute each other's songs without thinking about songwriting credits.
I always thought that "Lennon-McCartney" songwriting brandname just because their names were in alphabetical order, and that it didn't matter who wrote what the most. But, I could be wrong.
Number 1: Existing
🎉I enjoyed this I agree with Julian, she knew what she was doing from the start 😮
She broke up the Beatles as much as Allen Klein did. Which is to say, I doubt breaking them up was ever her goal, but her actions and presence sure did a lot to usher it on.
The hatred is justified. Even if it was just the way she treated Julian, as well as Sean, over their inheritance, that would be enough. The McCartney-Lennon refusal on her part is quite damning, as well. She seems such an ugly sort. Yes does not seem to be her answer, and it looks as if we can say that for sure. I really mind all her godawful games.
mind games
Yes that was bad about cutting Julian out and the McCartney Lennon request was just immoral. Greedy greedy greedy. Down right immoral of her. It wasn't her decision to make. Shouldn't have been. But Paul was doing the right thing asking about the purchase of the rights to Northern songs and she buggered that up too. Paul's been good to Julian and even reaching out to John before he went. They were on good terms as far as I remember.
Yoko must be the inspiration for the ghost in The Ring.

She seemed to love having control over John’s life. Even after his death. She controlled his money and his image. She never moved on. She stayed in his shadow because she relished all of the attention she got for being known as John’s forever widow!
“In his shadow”?..are you suggesting that she had some talent or redeeming qualities that she could have relied on?😂
Tbh, I just came here for the Chuck Berry incident - that’ll never fail to make me laugh! 😂😂
What was the real reason for John going into semi-retirement from the music business between 1975- 1980? Did he really have to take off 5 years to bring up his son Sean and become a house husband as we were told? Yokos control over his music career and finances has never really been explored in my view.
Well I think that he enjoyed taking the break from everything. It was an intense experience that they went through the group. And Yoko had and has the business acumen. Yes taking control of the money was always in her sights.

The reason Macca is civil with Paul is the same reason Olivia, Jules, Ringo are civil with Yoko; as owner of John's estate, in order to put out anything with all 4 Beatles' likeness, they need her ok. Ever wonder why you see more of Yo ko in George's autobiodocumentary Living in the Material World than of Olivia or Patti? That's why. The way Yo ko treated Jules is another example of Yoko's malignant covert narcissism.
I think it's obvious who was the better writer! After the break-up Paul was the one who had the tremendous solo career! First with Wings, then as a solo artist! Paul had hit after hit after hit!
Shortly before John Lennon was shot/murdered, Yoko Ono publicized John's/their daily schedule and routes. Former bodyguards (she removed bodyguard security) thought as such, she was reckless and created great danger. We can only speculate that she intended for John to be vulnerable to known threats... very likely for such a proven cold-hearted selfish woman that was having sex with other men behind a closed door to their bedroom. John Lennon was the ultimate lover; how else could a person write the lyrics he wrote. John was full of grace and mercy as he unconditionally loved Yoko Ono. John Lennon chose to be blind to her selfishness and allowed himself to be manipulated. His first wife was the ultimate wife. She never complained to the press about John Lennon. I guess that kind of wife was boring to John Lennon. With good marriage counselors and commitments to exercise recommendations, John Lennon could have restored his first marriage to a good woman before the divorce.
Strong opinions, my friend. I don’t think John was all that great, I’ve heard he kind of really sucks
The heart wants what the heart wants, even when it's a demon woman like Yoko.
John himself said he treated Cynthia badly and they would have worked out if he had been more mature when he met her. RIP Cynthia ⚘️

10 reasons... 1 because she appeared 2 because she didn't go away 3 because she cant sing 4 because she sang on Beatle tracks 5 because she hated John by the end and had affairs all over the place 6 because she controlled John, preventing phone calls getting through 7 because she ran away when the shots started, Olivia got stuck in 8 because she stole Georges biscuits 9 because she has the artistic talent of a mushroom 10 because Chapman could have shot her instead of John
I like your list, but your #10 is the best!

Title:Top 10 times Yoko Ono pissed off Beatles fans Beatles fans:BUT WAIT! There's more!
I've been a Beatles fan for nearly my entire life. Here are my thoughts: Did Yoko break up The Beatles? Yes & No. No, because they were on the verge of breaking up... but that being said, she didn't help. To me, it's was great that he loved & was happy with her. To me, the problem was that he wanted the world to love her as much as he did. And that's not possible. Everyone at one time has met someone who suddenly fell in love & then all of a sudden, EVERY conversation you have with this person is DOMINATED by them talking about their lover. Or they have to take their lover EVERYWHERE they go. You get this feeling that if you stubbed your toe then this person JUST HAS TO start taling about how their partner stubbed their toe a few days prior. You feel like saying, "Damn! Enough already! YOU LOVE THIS PERSON... WE DON'T. Stop foisting your lover on the rest of us." He should've said, "Hey, babe... sit this one out." Or, she should have, "You go do your thing, sweetie. I'm going to sit this one out for a bit." But no. They fell in love, and the world was forced to sit and watch.

That would never fly with a narcissist…he never recognized her manipulation, apparently.
I don't think it was a "they". I think he fell in love, but she only saw an opportunity.
Yoko Ono made a generous donation of John Lennon’s cassette with his song “Now and Then” written and demoed by John Lennon at his home studio in the mid/late 1970s. Should we consider Yoko Ono to be a generous selfless philanthropist to benefit the history of music and promote the welfare of others? John Lennon's cassette was worthless remaining in Yoko Ono's possession. Why did she give it away? Todd Lowry, Former Music Business Attorney, wrote the following facts 4 years ago: Yoko Ono controls the estate of John Lennon. She receives royalties for “Come Together” and for every other Beatles’ song credited to John Lennon and Paul McCartney. The vast majority of those songs are controlled by Sony/ATV Music. Any song-writing royalties for Lennon/McCartney compositions are split equally between Paul McCartney and John Lennon’s estate. Even the song “Yesterday,” which Paul wrote by himself, and who was the only Beatle to sing or play on, is split 50/50 with half of the royalties going to John, because the song was credited to John Lennon and Paul McCartney. The copyright on those songs won’t expire for many years to come, so Yoko will continue to receive royalties until she passes and then, presumably, the estate will go to Sean Lennon (or maybe even poor Julian Lennon will finally get some consideration).

Whether it is true or not, Yoko will never be able to get rid of the stigma. She will always be blamed for the break up of the Beatles.🎸🎼
Yoko manipulates John's life quite a bit. Food choices (e.g. macrobiotic diet) and she controls which people get to see John. She insisted on getting her own songs for Double Fantasy (after a little argument John finally agreed). John was making a great album of his own.

To show just how absolutely deranged John was about Yoko, once, when he was asked about Chrissy Hinde and the Pretenders' music, he replied that he liked it, but that Yoko had done that stuff years earlier. I'm sorry: musical genius that Lennon was, he was also a real prick for allowing this dragon of a woman to completely colonize him. All that outward show of machoism and the hard man image was a mere facade. He was a real cream puff inside, the weakest of the Beatles.
Out of all the ladies that would've thrown themselves at John, he picked this kook. Of course she was in it for the fame and money.
I was on the fence but now I am in the mud and it stinks.
Would it be fair to characterize Yoko in so far as the Beatles's relationships go as, "the turd in the punchbowl"?
Yes, the Beatles would have ended sooner or later without her or even with another in her place. But to place yourself in the Beatle's creative environment, even at John's insistence, was not 'art' but really a 'farce'.
