  • 5:45 While Saturn is the 2nd largest of the Gas Giants, it's also the least dense planet in the solar system. So while saturn does have substantially more mass, it does have lesser gravity than Neptune. Neptune and Uranus are also near identical on size, but have differing masses and densities, so Uranus does have slightly less gravity.

On high gravity you go faster because its pushing you down so you get a lot more downforce, traction and grip (kind of like having a massive spoiler on the car) On low gravity you go slower because you are barely touching the ground, so the tires are lift of the ground so you get a lot less traction and a lot more wheel spin!

    • NO NO NO. The car is gaining more speed with more gravity mainly because gravity is accelerating it faster down the incline. Gravity is measured in acceleration. The greater the gravity, the more an object will accelerate down an incline. The less the gravity, the less an object will accelerate down an incline. It is basic physics 101. While grip may affect the speed to some degree, this basic principle of gravity is MUCH, MUCH, MUCH more to blame for the difference in speed.

  • The Moon have about 1/6 Earth gravity. For Mars, that's about 1/3. Saturn is much bigger that Neptune, but it also have a very low density at about 0.9 that of water. For the Sun's gravity, if you had turned it on at the tip of the ramp, you would not even have made it to the 100m mark. In fact, you'd probably have crashed before the 30m mark.
