That burl can be more valuable than the tree. When I used to cut timber here in the Southern Appalachia Mountains. I could make more money for the burls than from the trees they were growing in. Love the videos and how you highlight West Coast/BC timber cutting. Thanks.

Probably the same feeling a pro baseball feels when he hits a grand slam or when a bowler keeps rolling strikes! Love to watch a skilled working man do his job so well and I love your passion. As you know, Bjarne, craftsmen wood turners would love to have those burls that you see regularly, if only an economic way of getting them out of your work area could be had!
BJARNE, the more that I think about your bosses comment to you about the high stumps the more inclined that I’D BE to cut them off flush with the surrounding dirt. Then maybe he’d understand the importance of having them in the prevention of log’s all rolling down hill!

I think the burrl will make a better coffee table or side table with some resin if it's not to hard and time consuming you should save some burrls for woodworkers 😂😅
