Today I'm going to attempt to solve Dedwood's "Oleg's Wardrobe". This is a very difficult and satisfying sequential discovery puzzle. Here's the description: Oleg's Wardrobe is a sequential discovery puzzle with more than 15 steps to find and release the prize. It's made from black walnut and African striped mahogany. The dimensions are 5" x 7" x 3.5".

  • That look at 19:05 just summed up everything perfectly. Yes, I _had_ been yelling at you on-screen to use the drawer as a button. Thank you for acknowledging that.

  • I had a dream some time ago where you commissioned or received a puzzle that was specifically designed for you. I can't honestly remember much other than the theme, the fact it was a completely wooden puzzle (my favorite), and the way to solve it. A fun thing that stuck in my head on awakening, so I filled in the blanks: I'm thinking a puzzle that comes with little story on some parchment, like so many I have enjoyed watching, and the story mentions clues such as "always being hands on", "taking a long look at yourself" etc... written in a pseudo philosophical way. The puzzle revolves around the number five, so it has five sides, there's five "digits" to uncover etc... Solvable in any order. The puzzle would cleverly and subtly reveal hints that are about yourself and with hands becoming the undeniable theme. The revelation (maybe about a third of the way into working with the puzzle) comes from you realizing the individual tattoos on your own hands are the keys to the solution. 🙃

  • This was odd. Liked your reactions. Liked the music. Liked the pacing. But this might be the first puzzle I didn't enjoy. It almost felt like it was designed in a way to be deceiving more than difficult...if that makes sense. I dunno. Visually the puzzle was excellent, but one of the few I've seen on the channel that I didn't enjoy the process of.

  • I’m going to try and make as much sense as I can: Hey Chris! I found u during a manic episode (I have dealt with depression since early childhood) and I just wanted to let u know that every time since then that I’ve noticed myself slipping, or suddenly realized I had fallen back into a pit, I quickly bring up ur channel. The mental strength that it takes to to try and solve the puzzles, as well as the focus that it requires helps me bring myself back to a level state of mind. So I wanted to say thank u for that. I don’t even know if u check or respond to ur comments, and u don’t have to respond to this one. But I hope u read it at some point. Because I am very appreciative of u and ur work. Thank u.

  • It's fun to watch you solve these various puzzles, but for myself, I have a low frustration tolerance for such things; I'm not even much of a fan of jigsaw puzzles! So I fear that after 20 minutes or so of trying everything, my "solution" would be to give it a bang with a 20 lb. doublejack! 🤣 My general philosophy is, "Life itself is challenging enough: I want my entertainment to be simple and easy." 🤣

Always like those. +1 Didn't break easily (Some in the past broke way too easily) +1 While solved the 1st part accidentally, it wasn't TOO confusing and it wasn't a frustrating puzzle to solve. -1 Not enough giant grey suits with purple shirts in the wardrobe.
