    • Rain Coast It’s going to be mostly branch wood in a chipping line. Branch wood has too many internal stresses to be used for structural things, so it gets pulped for paper or chipped for chipboard/hardboard/etc. It’s really an ingenious way to make use of waste.

    • Since they dont remove the bark... im guessing chips for fuel, ovens both in homes but mostly for heat powerplants where say 10% of chips mixd with coal give a cleaner combustion if they had removed the bark, they could have made say paper ore pellets ore briketts.

    • Usually it’s debarked and chipped for paper or chipboard/hardboard/engineered wood products. But like he said... no debarking here.

    • @@sammyn9345 Only the loose bark and stones that fell off the trunks by shaking them. hehe. i have a factory 3 miles from where i live that uses a ring knife debarker that removes both the bark + the soft area = the last years growt That bark pulp they use to make a strange form of particle board cald huntonit:::: www.byggmakker.no/trelast-og-byggevare/plater/huntonit-trefiberplate-hard/ ore www.byggmakker.no/trelast-og-byggevare/plater/trefiberplate-undertak-18x595x2420/ And from the CLEAN logs they make WHITE quality paper
