I sang this song to my mother who was losing her battle with brain cancer. I sang it to her on her deathbed. When the song was over and the singing had stopped, she inhaled, exhaled and was still holding my hand when she flat line and passed from this world. She held my hand all the way through the song and only let go after her last breath had long gone. The brain cancer caused her to have multiple seizures each minute. But while I was singing to her, she had none. Thank you to the community for letting me post. And thank you Mr Urban for the song that allowed my mama to transition from this world to the next. This is one of my grandmother's favorite songs. She passed away today. She said if I didn't play this at her funeral she weren't coming. ❤ I love her so much.i hope she's in a better place. Rest in peace my beautiful mawamw❤❤

Just Lost my grandmother , this was her favorite song , had to look it up for her all the time . Hits so different hearing it now, over and over while I sit alone in this parking garage after work at midnight . The memories are so tied to this tune. It hurts but it helps . . Circle of life . Keith Urban. So talented. Reminds me of the type of talent that Glen Campbell had. I saw Keith performing in Vegas. He saw Glen watching concert. By now the Alzheimer’s had created such a fog in his head. Same as my dear mom was. He so incredibly and graciously brought him on stage. Gave him a guitar and let him play whatever he wanted. Still the master with a few broken spots that Keith so majestically covered. I’ll always hold Keith in highest of respect. For his incredible singing and playing? Sure. But for his incredible grace.

This is a beautiful song.My grandson was 3 and had brain problems he could only say a few words but he would try to sing the song most was humming.we have a short video of him singing.He went to heaven March 28 2020.This short video is like gold we can listen to him .Lyrik Joe was a special little 👦 and he loved this song.

- I've been listening to country music since I was 9 or 10. A lot of Black people, especially in the south, LOVE country music, even though there is an element of racism in the White people who prefer it to any other kind of music. I hope people comprehend what I just said and don't turn it into me saying that all country music fans are racist. That is not what I'm saying as I know it's not true... Anyway... umm... yeah Keith Urban is my favorite; but, here are some others that I could probably say that about as well: Florida Ga. Line, Jason Aldine, Luke Bryan, Jason Aldine, Dustin Lynch, Chris Young, Brantley Gilbert. There are many more.. I also like the older artists as well like Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. Some that aren't so famous; but sing good music: David Nail, Josh Turner, Billy Currington... There really are too many to name....I liked it when I was a kid in the 70s.

The summer this song came out, life was different. I was 23. Working at a contact lens warehouse as a shipper. Across from me was another shipper named Annie. She was like a mom to everyone. Her smile and infectious laugh would always bring happiness to people. 🥰❤️ I could talk to her and she comforted me a lot. I was going through a very abusive relationship at that time. Annie and I stayed friends over the years even after I left that job. She passed away in summer 2021 from cancer. Annie, you're Missed so much.💔but I'm so glad you're not in pain anymore. I hope to see you later. RIP Annie 💓💓
