I also recommend the water fill on the inside of the van to prevent someone from messing with your water supply.
He said water fill is still on the inside and that he'd probably "get flak for that."

How the heck do you take a shower? No room to stand! Looks like the toilet is fixed.
This is by far one of my favorite vans I have ever seen. It is everything I want except I need to fill water from the outside. This is excellent!

I love the build. If I had any suggestions it would be the swap the table mount to the other seat so it can double as a nightstand table when it's time to sleep (assuming you don't extend the bed).

Me being me, I would have two mounts because I like the idea of being able to use it as either a night stand or as additional prep/work space when needed.
Love the twin size bed that can expand. It opens so much space for the little dinette situation. Nice !

Yeah. I’ll need to have the slide in screen in my van. I have one cat and want a second one. I want to keep them safe but have good airflow and light.
Not sure how it is to shower with the toilet same area, bit tight for me
I've watched hundreds of van-life videos over the last 4 years and gleaned the best ideas to put together my ideal van layout, which is basically THIS van!! (I have an idea to make a full-size hidden ensuite and use your shower space for wardrobe but essentially the rest of the van is identical). Wow! It's great to see "my" van in the flesh (not as 100 pages of sketches and notes!) Well done!!

Lovess the design, one of the tidiest and well thought of I’ve seen. If I was the owner, I would find the toilet quite strange so I would probably add more space for the shower area apart from the toilet and would sacrifice the oven and air fryer so I could move the sink to the passenger side.

I don't need an air fryer, but having had an oven in my old Class-C, I know how great it can be to have that option when you are living there. At the worst, it was a great temporary storage.

Beautiful clean build. Very impressed with the attention to details, for example the covers for the batteries under the dinette seat.

I'd rather have a second solar panel than the perch or skylight, but this is really well thought out.

Hanging rack in shower door for hanging clothes. When u shower, the door opens, clothes are now outside the bathroom, close 2nd sliding door.
This is a very nice build. You could use walkable solar panels to expand the roof deck.

Id love to see more about the using the bed as a queen such as how do you store the additional mattress
The bed is cut into sections and stored in the garage, underneath the bed. 6in memory foam mattress takes up a fair amount of space- but not overwhelming

I'm sorry that my takeaway for your absolutely beautiful van is the pantry with adjustable shelving! I understand why builders don't do it but man...making shelves adjustable opens up all kinds of options.

Cleanest design I've seen 👏 the twin bed expanding to queen is slick. Alas, my 2 Mt bikes and 2 inflatable SUPs require a full bed footprint to fit under (with front wheels taken off). The large battery and water tank take precious space in the back. The art of tradeoffs...

Genius! The only change I would make is moving the lagun mount so the table swings over the driver side bench. I like to sleep with my head on the driver's side, and I like lots of room when I sit up to swing my legs out of the bed.

I like the water fill on the inside. I get that there is no way around having some things on top of the van. I like keeping it as stealth as possible.
Also, having the water fill on the inside prevents anyone from prying open the fill cover and contaminating the supply. (Trusting soul that I am...)

Such a beautiful and practically built van. Very impressed. My one question has to do with the toilet. It didn’t look as if there would be leg room while sitting on it in the bathroom.
Left to right is a bit tight, but you can actually set the shower doors right out for *some* privacy, and face the toilet towards the slider window for extended leg space. Loo with a view!

Wait, wait, wait. This van build is INCREDIBLE!!! As a wannabe perfectionist, this clean detail is like no other van build I've ever seen. From aesthetics to function to necessities, this is nothing short of BRILLIANT. But I'm sort of new to this channel, so help me out, please. WHO IS MATT? Does he work for NJOA? Does he have his own business? Does he have his own channel? How can he not??? Please tell all of us who aren't familiar, who Matt is, and how can we get him to build a van for US, or let us watch him build these 4 wheel perfection specimens in every last detail. I'm sincerely amazed. 😮💙😮 EDIT: Ok...I SWEAR I looked all over the info here to find out more about Matt, but I must have been enthused so deeply, my eyes missed what was very evident on the top portion. I can see where he is from, and am doing a deep search on the van company to learn all about it. I'm leaving the rest above this edit, because it all holds true. I can't tell you the number of times I shouted "YES!" when he talked about each feature I loved and was something "I" would want or would have done if I were talented enough to do this. lol. Favorite van build EVER.

Personally, I love the twin bed the most. Too many small vans try to put huge beds.
We agree, not a fan of taking up half of your usable space if you’re not going to be keeping a bunch of gear (or people) inside. All about options

Definitely not a problem to still have the water fill on the inside. Either would want that or a lockable panel so absolutely no way for a vandal to contaminate your water supply!
In 13:22 such a small space hitting yourself on the corners of the tables and counters was a concern but not with this built. This is the first video I’ve see with rounded counters and tables🔥😍
