Considering the pool of beautiful people Hollywood execs have to pull from when casting a show, it can get hard to find someone who fits an unattractive character description. So, instead, beautiful stars are cast, but they are made under into less glamorous versions of themselves. These are 10 TV characters who are so hot in real life.
Even if youve never seen the show “Ugly Betty,” you probably already know Betty is supposed to be ugly. The problem is, the star of the show, America Ferrera, was anything but. That didn’t stop producers of the series from smacking some braces on the actress and dressing her up in frumpy clothes. But, when you see her in real life, you won’t believe it’s the same person.
Another gorgeous gal that gets a make under for the TV screen is Gwendoline Christie. You may know her better as Brienne of Tarth from “Game of Thrones.” Though she may not be one of the lookers on the show, she is absolutely stunning in real life. Watch the video to see for yourself.
In 2013, “American Horror Story” had one of their craziest seasons yet! The theme of the year was “Freak Show” and boy did they do it justice. One of the freakiest characters that season was Pepper, and you won’t believe your eyes when you see the actress who brought her to life.

  • Umm... so what's wrong with nerdy characters, Just cause they're nerdy that makes them unattractive. Win did wearing braces define beauty? I think they're cute on some people and I like characters with messy or frizzy hair. It's more realistic. I dunno, I guess I just like characters/people that don't fit the mold that society says we should be. It would be boring if we all looked the same honestly. Also a lot of these characters just change accessories and add make up or a trim. What exactly is the big reveal here. Like another comment said "this just proves that anybody can have a glow up." The only big reveal was the thumbnail.
