  • I loved playing Omaha back in the day with play chips on old poker sites. Just learning now that the game is also played with 5/6 cards. I always thought Omaha was a great drawing game, can’t imagine what 5/6 card is like. Tons of luck and “chasing”, no?

  • I think PLO5 study point ・VPIP increase than PLO4(but over 60% is too much) ・So maybe widely participating player is not have good connect hand and strong flash draw. ・increase call range of preflop. (PLO5 equity is near, so It's not good to fold too much.) ・use twice every time because near equity But PLO5 can not play rush&cash. So can not many speedy play. So I do not play PLO5. and like not straddle.

  • Concerning the hand beginning at 20:00 : you instafold the flop on T62 but you have 2 pairs. Is it so obvious to fold in this spot ?

    @TheProgaddict@TheProgaddict2 жыл бұрын
    • see it that way... u playing vs 4 ppl...that means 20 cards ,...there are 2 spades...some straight draws ,gutshot but still...and someone could have a set ..lets say at that point with your bottom 2 pair ,u are good....there are NOT a lot of cards on turn and river that will make your hand ....bottom 2 pair in PLO is often a fold ,in 5 card PLO i would say a clear fold :)

    • Hey Leo, at the moment we have 13 videos that were created over the past couple of months looking at the preflop strategy from a GTO perspective as well as some play & explains with GTO Analysis. We then have a further 15 practical videos that are from the past couple of years that focus on reviewing cash games and tournaments. We will be diving deeper into the 5 card space though in the coming months.

    • - Up to 1.9 = breakeven - Between 2.0 and 3.9 = Good - Between 4.0 and 5.9 = Very good - Between 6.0 and 7.9 = Top of the field - Between 8.0 and 15.0 = Outstanding PS: do consider playing at least 100k hands in order to have a more real assessment of your winrate

  • Been looking for more strategy content on 5 card. Been studying and playing BigO (5cardHi/Lo). In my last 3 sessions I’m up about $1,500 in a .50/1 Online home game. I’ve been making some really big lay downs, (things like folding A234 on a 78K kind of board)…only drawing for half or quarter of the pot is one of the biggest leaks in this game. I think that’s the biggest key, minimizing losses and getting maximum value by betting when you are nutted.
