Man, the iPhone 13 Pro Max was both a gift and a curse, every iPhone after that didn’t have great battery life. Apple got everything right with the 13 lineup.
True that. I have the IP13 and it is equivalent to IP15 in performance and use barring a few features ( not worth the difference in amount) .
@@bayernrocks Yup when it comes to performance, beyond maybe a 12 or 13 even if you are a power user or reviewer that much power is enough for 90% of the tasks you do on a phone yeah maybe heat is something else while gaming or exporting video but most people do not even use their phone that way. (Not a fan of apple recycling chips however this year they are rumored to stop)

@@bboyggez 80 no, above 20 yes. Never deep discharge lithium cells. Also I manage heat effectively while charging, overheating is the main reason for premature battery degradation.

Still rocking my 13 with 0 complaints. I have the white one and I think stainless steel looks like the most premium out of all options, I like it more than the titanium 15s. Also dynamic island almost always gets in the way with full screen videos but thats not an issue on 13 series. Still a great device!
Mine is white too and looks flawless! I agree about the stainless. I've got a TB of storage and don't plan on upgrading anytime soon.

Have one and yes love it and considering the iPhone 16 Pro Max but always love your advice here. I totally agree with the speaker issues and camera displays and zoom. It’s really been a great phone but my only complaint is keeping my provider from pushing its own “wishes” upon us! I’ll stick by you and even Apple on most things over what they offer. i’ve had one in 2022. then i switched to an iphone 14 pro, then 14 pro max. after that i had an iphone 15 pro max. i’m dumb. it all eventually lead to me buying a brand new sealed 13 pro max and i am using it until now being super happy. best phone ever.

I literally went from a iPhone 14 Pro Max and went back to my iPhone 13 Pro Max. And he is right the 120hz is faster on the 13 pm than the 14 and 15 pm I think.

My son got a refurbished 13 Pro Max upgrading from a XR. He is blown away by the camera technology and the speed. He loves it. I had the 13 Pro and have to get the 14 Pro due to something went wrong when I took 13 Pro to the Apple Store to replace the battery. This was after almost a year after the 14 Pro debut. I wasn't happy about it but I did get trade-in credit toward the 14 Pro. It will be a year comes May and I have finally gotten accustomed to the 14 Pro. Personally, it is nothing compared to the 13 Pro.
My phone and don’t see a real upgrade worth it yet. Still runs smooth and the camera performs well!
Aaron, thanks for making videos in general. I've enjoyed your videos ever since I switched from Android to iPhone. I bought my first iPhone years ago (8plus red color), but I now have the 13 Pro Max Sierra Blue which I absolutely love!! This iPhone is definitely worth it in 2024 if you can find a good deal. I love everything about this phone especially the battery life. One of the best Pro Max phones out there (in my opinion). Thanks again Aaron!

For ever i was always a Galaxy Samsung owner. The iPhone 13PM is and was my first ever iPhone. I have no complaints about it what so ever, i really love. it was a major change but i have gotten use to it now. Have no intentions to upgrade anytime soon. I got the phone Early March 2022 and battery Capacity is currently at 88%. Love all the videos! TY !
Perhaps my favorite iPhone of all the ones I've had. Great battery life, great screen and I took many photos with it in ProRaw mode since before I had an iPhone 11 Pro.
Absolutely loving my 13 Pro! Even at 80% BH it actually still is killing it. Probably my one and only complaint is how heavy it is compared to my old 11 Pro. I also wanted the green but only the Sierra Blue was available and I think it’s gorgeous so it worked out, guess I have a case 98% of the time anyway

Mine 13 pro max is still rock solid and im using it from day one.. I constantly end a day with like 50-60 battery percent and lag count is 0.

My iphone 13 pro max was the first iphone I've ever owned and I have to say, I love it. To this day, my friends still are blown away by the pictures and videos I take.

As a 13 Pro Max user, I’m considering a battery replacement in a year or two instead of an upgraded phone unless we see some new design that completely changes the look of the iPhone or a feature that becomes an absolute must have for me.
I got the iPhone 13 Pro in Sept last year, second hand, great phone and everything however battery health went from 86 to 81% since then which is bad but might get replacement

I skipped the 13. I have a 14 Pro Max and it is fine. But my 12 Pro Max 512Gb in Pacific Blue was my all time favorite iPhone. That thing was a workhorse and never gave me any trouble. Also, it was gorgeous.
Still holding on to mine and it works great. Maybe considering the iPhone 16 at this point.
I’ve had a few iPhones over the years, and used to change every couple of years, but I’ve stayed with my iPhone 13 Pro since its release. Haven’t yet felt the need to upgrade.
I think it sort of is. I'm navigating a return to iOS and it was the first used product I thought of purchasing. Very well thought out handset. I ended up buying the 13 mini but may end up just going to the max.
I still have mine, only issue I’m starting to have is charging port is starting not to work. I’ve had this since it came out, but I love this phone along with my Apple Watch Ultra.

Still running a 13 pro, I got a whole new unit through an applecare+ replacement and still has 100% battery health, this was 4 months ago as of late march 2024
I’ve been using one since December 2021, it’s a great phone. Same colour as yours and use a Spigen black case with it. Battery is 88% there was a time my battery health was degrading very fast for about 3-4 months and not sure why. I’ve really taken good care if it and have dropped it probably twice since i bought it. Still a worthy iPhone in 2024. If i can I’ll wait for iPhone 17
I am using the 13PM and really like it. I have 87% battery life. Not planning to upgrade yet.
I got mine the day it came out, and I use it to this day. I haven't seen anything about the new ones since that's said, "upgrade" to me. I got the largest one (1TB), and I still barely scratch the surface of storage usage, and I keep all of my videos and pics I've taken. I have the blue color. I'm at 86% battery life, as I use it a lot, and it gets me through the day consistently. I got a UAG case for it quickly, and I don't use a screen protector. It's been scratch free and the screen is flawless (knock on wood). I call this the best iPhone in a long time, and I won't upgrade until Apple forces me out or I see something with a wow factor that gets me to upgrade.

I really love this phone. Believe it or not, but I collected all the good colors of it in the 1 TB version…sierra blue, graphite and alpine green, in the sealed unopened package. Got them over time and with a great discount after some time. I am not a fan of used or renewed phones, which are often mistreated by their previous owner. A really great device and one of the best iPhones ever made! 👍🏻
I bought the 1 TB iphone 13 pro max on day one and ive taken it with me everywhere... To thailand during the songkran water festival, where it got soaked in water and lived. To turkey, during the deep snow season To south Korea, where i almost forgot it in a taxi after a crazy night. The battery is at 85% and i love it. Battery life is all day still

I am using it too but the brightness issue can be fixed by setting white point, I usually automate this via shortcut
Bought my 13 Pro Max from a friend who took good care of it, all I had to do was add a new battery and oh boy, what a huge upgraded it was coming from a 12 64GB; Screen feels smooth, camera is great and the biggest gain here was the battery, it's amazing! Comparing to the 15 Pro Max I could only notice some difference in camera's (mainly videos);
My biggest issue with this iPhone is that the slow mo is jittery and not smoothly recording at the desired 240 fps. Which is weird considering my last iPhone, iPhone 11, which was not a pro model, recorded slow motion videos at 240 fps buttery smooth. First phone I used and loved the slow motion feature!
I regret trading in my 13 Pro to 14 Pro last year. But now my 14 Pro doesn’t work well with bugs stuttering and 89% battery health with poor battery life. I tried everything including factory resetting the phone a few times but it didn’t help. Now, I debate if I should get a 13 Pro from eBay/Swappa or just get the 15 Pro Max or wait for the 16 Pro which anyways won’t offer any changes from the 15 Pro according to the leaks, the 17 Pro is the one to wait for. What should I do? Thanks.
Aside from the repaired green screen, mine is still working pretty fine. Accidentally dropped it from a height of 6 ft. I think, thankfully, no cracks or whatsoever. That happened with a $10 rubber case 😅
Mine is Space Gray. I really wanted the Sierra Blue but my carrier is a small Alaska only carrier. Since I live in a small town we got whatever wasn't shipped from Los Anchorage to their two Anchorage locations, Fairbanks, Juneau and Ketchikan .

I’ve had my 13 Pro Max for about a year and a half now. I just had the phone replaced under my AppleCare due to an issue that they could not fix at Apple. I’ll likely keep it at least for another year or two before I even consider upgrading. It’s not worth it anymore.
Amazon renewed in the UAE has it for 803 usd but I'm cautious about it. 16 pro max is also on the horizon.

I have a suspicion that Apple did something to improve the touch latency on the newer phones compared to the older 13 Pro phones. Whenever I use my girlfriend's new 15 Pro, I get the sense that her phone reacts to swipe gestures more quickly and smoothly compared to my 13 Pro which occasionally stutters and has lags when I'm swiping from the bottom. Also I frequently get delays when using the power button or tapping the display to wake the screen, but her 15 Pro does that too. Force restart helps but it eventually creeps back in after a few days or so.

If I could go back, I would've gone for the 13 pro/pro max instead of the 14 PM. Would have saved 500 euro give or take, all for better battery life, too.
