Firm purchase, and soo much better than a Beamer. These in the day were the ultimate executive express, nicely understated unless you knew your cars. Looking forward to the following episodes.

Well done Raj. Cracking cars. I just bought a w124 300ce was dry stored in Monaco for 25 odd years. Split mint and original. Very nostalgic proper engineered cars. Also have a e24 highline manual. I’ll be in touch shortly for a couple of blaupunkt bremens. Was at your sealey stand at the nec. Met Aaron there. Keep up the great work.

I'm about to get one of these. It's not the iconic 2.3 16, It's the 2.3 with just 136hp, but It has solar roof, ABS, ASD, sportline finish with plenty of extras and It's in quite good condition. I know It can't be compared with the 2.3 / 2.5 16 but anyway I think It's quite a good acquisition

Legend. Properly living the dream. AMG Monoblock Performas on coilovers. Subtle but looks the business at the same time.
Another great buy 👍👍👍👍 No rust on a merc 😮… that’s unheard of ?!!…. If it’s true , that shows the previous owners looked after the Merc perfectly 👌 I prefer the 2.5 over the 2.3, but both are great cars 👊👊👊👊 I would refresh the whole suspension, Drop a set of staggered Lorinser L 0’s on the car 👌👌👌 With a Lorinser steering wheel and a stereo system up grade And just cruise around with it Up grade the head lights also !!!

Loving the series Raj - absolutely top notch fella. I own a 2.5-16 manual in blue/black so loving this one :) My thoughts - I've never seen a smoke silver with an Evo 1 kit. Sitting on coilovers with Compomotive TH1882, BBS CHR2, LM's maybe? Really looking forward to whatever you conjure up 👍

First and foremost very nice find. I was thinking bags and something different like an OZ Opera or maybe a Work Euroline DH wheel both with period correct styling and can have a little lip.

As for the E30 M3...its value is high agreed, BUT the 2.3 or 2.5 Cossie wasn't its rival, it was the Mercedes 190E Evolution 1 then updated 190E Evolution 2 . These Evos especially the Evo 2 values are stratospheric, like way way high and increasing £180,000 to £400,000 ... IF you can find one. Great channel and viewing, thanks bro.!. I'd go coilovers with speedline or compomotive 18" racing alloys and Momo AMG steering wheel.!.

Yes it's the obvious choice, but I'd say it's gotta go on air + BBS RS or Monoblock splits.

Evo wheels make it 3pc, with meaty fitment
The e30 m3 was never totally as a result of the 190e but because the m6 that was used in racing was too front heavy etc also the Audi v8, Ford’s Sierra cossy and Merc’s 350sl were doing damage on the circuit (DTM, ETM, BTCC) and bmw really wanted to change their luck. In terms of value whilst the Merc cossy was an afterthought colab with cosworh, the bmw m3 was ground up race car from inception with an engine derived from à formula 1 block used also in the m1 that had 2 cylinders lobbed off (a definitive race engine) . That’s why the Merc could never be as valuable. The Merc cossy would be in same value class as a e30 325i sports and the only direct competitor would be the Merc 2.5ltr Evo 1 vs any e30 m3 and then the Merc Evo 2 vs Sports Evo bmw and even then it was 235hp Merc vs 238bhp of the Bmw. The Merc was 55k new [hence why that Ltd edition was always very expensive, with adjustable suspension and fully loaded]versus sport Evo[with switchable suspension slightly wider front fender and different red plugs special seats and other details that make that car different to base m3] @ £38-42k depending on spec of bmw. In my view you can’t compare a raced bred engine vs a tuned engine hence probably reflected in values. I could go into much more detail why am m3 trounces the Merc ( but that would involve pages] 🙏🏿🙂
