Learning to dive 5m for my Lifeguard course brought me here. Great, educative video Gert!
Great to hear!
People are afraid of the pressure of the water, but most of the time fear comes from a place of unfamiliarity with the subject, and inexperience. When you know what you're doing, there is no need for fear. Pressure = fear.
13:35 uma correção: O recorde do molchanov é 136 metros.
aaah made a mistake. 136m indeed. In feet it is 446 m. thanks for bringing that up ❤
I really enjoyed listening to the details, Great educational content Gert! Thank you 😁
My pleasure Shin! glad you liked it 🙌🙌
Great information
Glad it was helpful!
Very well explained.. I love your videos❤🎉
Thank you so much 😀
It makes sense. The more I dive the easier it is to go deep. But when I think about it, I never really improved my static apnea time. So it all came down to fear and relaxation.
it always does.
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it
💪😎👍 keep it going
Always!
Süper video 💯🙏😍
🙌🙌🙌
Great content ! thanks. Just a small note on turtles: They are not mammals, but raptiles :)
good observation! thanks for pointing that out 🙌
Seria interessante um vídeo sobre a síndrome de taravana. Há poucos vídeos sobre o assunto.
in breathhold diving we have to respect surface intervals. stay on the surface 3x the time of your dive time. if you were underwater for 1 minute, than wait at least 3 m minutes before diving again. it's not an answer to your question but it will mitigate most possible problems related to the topic
Ничего непонял@ Но очень интересно!👍
thanks ❤
Alexey's record was 136m, not 236m.
yes that was a slip of the tongue. its corrected in the description 🙌 Thanks for being an attentive viewer 🙏
@@gertleroy No worries man. I love your videos, and I hope I can dive with you soon!
@@HAXX_TV 🙏
Love your videos - so informative. I am still a beginner with only 21m PB in FIM but it was thanks to your videos that I learnt Frenzel eq. Looking forward to your next one. Peace🩷
Great to hear!
"Only"????? This is about as inaccessible for me as space!
@@catharinalangle4890 and yet people went to the moon, and so can you!
What about dealing with the pressure on your head? Every I duck dive, my head feels like it’s going to pop 2 meters down. How do I fix this?
watch my Playlist equalization techniques for freediving
I was exposed to a sqwiz At a depth of forty meters more than once, with varying degrees of danger, I then began to do stretching exercises and became more relaxed about going out fishing in particular. I feel better but Sometimes I feel like coughing and itching in my windpipe with some blood coming out of my throat when I move my head and neck too deep almost and when its cold water. Are there solutions to avoid these injuries? Is it chronic and cannot be overcome? Thanks
the solution is to dive to a depth you are 100% comfortable at. the moment you are not totally comfortable, that's where a squeeze might happen. If you squuze at 40m depth, it means you are not ready fe 40m. The best thing you can do is to go train freediving at a freediving school so you can fully focus on the dive itself and the relaxation and confidence you need for deep dives. cheers
pretty sure turtles don't have a mammalian dive reflex 😅
they're reptiles not mammals ;-) correct! hey do have a diving reflex though which triggers the same adaptations . please google diving adaptations in sea turtles 😎
It is not 234m 😳 World Record monofin is 136m
its corrected in the description thanks 🙌👍
Does holding your breath increase inflammation in the body?
no
well, i guess i'm gonna have to break those records, right now i'm at 8 meters, it is probably gonna take me a couple of weeks, i will let you know
all you have to do is activate the MDR. piece of cake !
Im curious and searching in any video dont get the answer... The question is how you diving or swimming face facing up and the water not get into your nose without the clip nose?... Or is it something that even professional swimmer and diver cant do that? Or is it just me?😅
water always gets in your nose when swimming upside down. wear a mask.
@@gertleroy i see... Thank you, you saved my time and this video is really beneficial to me and others too👍🏻✌🏻

Wow! Want to try getting deeper, but that video really makes me anxious…. 🫠
Go for it!
