It's not dust, it's vape tar. Which is pretty much a borderline hazard. Source: cleaned PCs like this before as well as smoker's PCs. Trust me, it's absolutely horrendous to clean and smells like rotting death. If a PC dies due to this kind of stuff, repair can easily cost 100+ dollars per component that dies from a reputable repair shop that does microsoldering.
@@Shyvorix I worked at a tv repair shop awhile back and had a dead tv come in that was a smokers. When we opened the tv it had died because the tar or whatever had coated the interior and formed strands that then connected components and shorted the board. It was nasty, I couldnt imagine what their house looked like.
@@Hunter-nb5bj Yea...a literal biohazard. That's why unless it's cleaned by someone who's qualified for it, almost everyone else would rather throw it out cause cleaning that can literally fuck up your lungs and even if not, who wants to risk that?

I hosed out my pc and let it sit for a week with a fan on it. Computers arn't that delicate, blow it out and use contact cleaners and isopropyl alcohol.

@@Asymmetrical-Saggin you can absolutely wash your pc , completely disconnect it. Wash it out with water with distilled water or after using tap hit it with isopropyl. The boards aren't going to be damaged by water when disconnected. The dried minerals from the water can cause issues which is why used distilled or rinse with isopropyl.
