Mate, have a look at 12.25! No one covering the blind side of the ruck. Du Klerk realises ahead of time and sprints to cover the blind side. In the process he makes a potentially try saving tackle as the Wales 9 runs down the blind side. Nothing better than watching a gutsy, smart halfback that knows the game and makes outstanding plays. Beauty to watch, Du Klerk is. Also a little bulldog in him as he squares up against two Welsh players twice his height.

I cannot express how proud Wales were of this team. I had shivers up my spine, knowing full well we didn't win on this time. Just seeing Wales in that environment, a semi-final, against one of the big boy teams. We are a nation of 3 million.

i went there! I’m a beginner rugby fan from Japan, luckily I could buy a ticket and it was my first time to watch a rugby game at stadium😳🙏 the game was super exciting and became an amazing experience for me thanks to “my neighbors” of that night🥰🌏🏴🇿🇦 also I want to say thank you for the supporters who gave me their national flag after the match! Most indigenous Catalan people favour Independence though while the ones whose origin is from other parts of Spain support the union . We should end the violence and celebrate a referendum as soon as possible but it mainly depends on the central government who is afraid to lose catalonia

In almost every game at RWC there was some aggressor(s) from the opposition trying to get us to lose our cool and they all failed. For some reason, we still carry the "thug" tag, but it is other teams trying to bully us and we don't bother retaliating? Yup, that seems about right....

Alun Wyn Jones great player. Much respect here in SA for Welsh rugby that gave the world the best rugby player the world has ever seen Gareth the genius Edwards. And for him to be Barry John JPR Williams JJ Williams he would have to be some player. I watched that 74 Lions team and they were incredible but because of the Welsh players. Both sides were appalling, that was without doubt the very worst rugby world cup game I have ever seen and I think I've watched most rugby world cup games over all the world cups since 1987. More of these highlights actually show no action at all. More time is spent showing players lining up for the kicks or replaying the action there was seven times.

This one still hurts just a year out from the next world cup, wales just suffered from too many injuries (the curse of our small team) and silly penalties. It's always a joy to watch this fixture as they are both such great teams no matter who wins! Just sad that the best team we've fielded in probably decades just lost by mere inches and couldn't take the fight to england once again... more than happy for SA to smash the english in our stead however!

Wales just got outmuscled. They looked better than SA with the ball in hand, but they lost the collisions because the SA players were too strong, that forced them to give away penalties. De Allende should never have scored that try, awful defending from Biggar, fair play to him though, he saw the gap and went for it. What pains me about this game is that Wales could've won it, they were more creative with the ball, they somehow stayed mostly solid defensively and until about the 73th minute mentally they were strong. South Africa won the game on brute strength, fair and square. Good luck in the final!

South Africa had a 93% tackle success rate. Wales did have every chance to take this win as they clearly had more flair but against a defense which is that effective it's a real tough challenge. Not to mention Springbok set piece is incredibly strong at the moment. I need new undies even just watching the highlights

The wings cut in to defend the outside centre. It stops the opposition dead in their tracks if the are fast enough but does leave you open out wide.

Mate, have a look at 12.25! No one covering the blind side of the ruck. Du Klerk realises ahead of time and sprints to cover the blind side. In the process he makes a potentially try saving tackle as the Wales 9 runs down the blind side. Nothing better than watching a gutsy, smart halfback that knows the game and makes outstanding plays. Beauty to watch, Du Klerk is. Also a little bulldog in him as he squares up against two Welsh players twice his height.
I cannot express how proud Wales were of this team. I had shivers up my spine, knowing full well we didn't win on this time. Just seeing Wales in that environment, a semi-final, against one of the big boy teams. We are a nation of 3 million.

This one still hurts just a year out from the next world cup, wales just suffered from too many injuries (the curse of our small team) and silly penalties. It's always a joy to watch this fixture as they are both such great teams no matter who wins! Wales just got outmuscled. They looked better than SA with the ball in hand, but they lost the collisions because the SA players were too strong, that forced them to give away penalties. De Allende should never have scored that try, awful defending from Biggar, fair play to him though, he saw the gap and went for it. What pains me about this game is that Wales could've won it, they were more creative with the ball, they somehow stayed mostly solid defensively and until about the 73th minute mentally they were strong. South Africa won the game on brute strength, fair and square. Good luck in the final!

As said, Wales usually *do* beat SA. Wales could have won thw championship for sure - just like English soccer team back in 2002. SA seem to have the best mauling andcombined tackle ability. .
