@@vschen3429 Sure, but it's all about resources. The reason G2 top side are strong is b/c the resources they get. Targa and Flakked barely get any, granted they do get 2v2ed a lot but if you look at upset+hyli, they need a lot of resources

@@Thebaddream7 out of 16 players that were asked, most picked are: on Top lane: BB (g2) 7 times, in JG: Jankos (g2) 8 times, in Mid lane: Caps (g2) 10 times, Bot: Upset (fnc) 7 times, and Suppport: Hylissang (fnc) 9 times, so it is an exaggeration to say that they all want to chill with G2 but you can't really deny that 3/5 role is dominated by G2.

Well, this team is a legend of EU. It's the turning point of European league history
it's pretty funny seeing some of these players actually end up together now, like carzzy and hyli, they really weren't making that stuff up. Then again it's pretty unique how ads get to pick their sup because it really has to be a botlane that meshes well.

I like how Perkz made it into 3 teams as an adc but only into one team as a midlaner.
And in the team he got picked as mid. It was by caps. So it tells a lot how fing good man is in the midlane. Caps role swaps so he can have perkz.

Top 3 LEC player of every lane according to this table: Top: BB, Alphari, Wunder Jgl: Jankos, Malrang, Elyoya Mid: Caps, Humanoid, Perkz Bot: Upset, Comp, Perkz Supp: Hylissang, Mikyx, Trymbi Gratz on Perkz being top 3 in two roles. Only other person mentioned by someone else was Odoamne top.

I would have to agree on getting Jankos-Caps as Jungle-Mid duo. In the current LEC, they have the best synergy out of all Mid-Jungles. Followed by Elyoya-Nisqy and Malrang-Larssen
If this was recorded before the last superweek, this would explain a lot of results and inting.

Doubtful, and simply b/c G2 lacked the regional competition to push them. DWG (LCK) basically stomped everyone in 2020; only losing three games at Worlds.

Carlos has truly built something special with the amount of respect whole pro scene even internationally puts on G2 Esports. When they first joined EU LCS I started watching esports and became their fan. There were tough times, but I am glad my favorite team flourished like this instead of becoming irrelevant with time.
When Carzzy puts Hyli next to him, and 3 months later it became reality.

I know targamas is relatively new compared to people like hily and miky, but I thought he would have been mentioned at least once. High vision control, impactful renata and all over a consistent player. Same goes for flakked, rough spring, but in summer and especially last couple of weeks he showed he deserves to be with g3 and isn't always getting carried.
I feel the same way. I think support is just naturally a hard position to judge who is best and Miky/Hyli have more historical prevalence in people’s minds. I’m not sure whether Miky was better with G2 than Targa, but I’m very confident Flakked is better than Perkz and Rekkles were. Only thing is G2 doesn’t prio ADC like FNC does so Upset automatically performs better than most ADCs and it makes Flakked and others look worse in comparison
I honestly don't know when we'll get another team like G2 2019 so I can't really blame them

Perkz ADC is the move for sure. Vitality should get a mid who can communicate better with Bo (zyb) next season & boot Carzzy to make it happen. Labrov would do well with a leadership figure in the laning phase.
Perkz dropped the ego before to get Caps so if they can do it again it's better chances for a deep Worlds run
