A wonderful activity! I remember there was a TV show called "Звездный час" (A star hour) when I was a small girl, where in the final children played this game - Anagrams. And I am a grown-up already and I still like this game, like to take very very long words and think of as many words from the given letters as possible. It really makes your brain work. Thank you for reminding us about such a good and interesting game that can be used at English classes!
Thank you for such a sweet comment. There's a whole story in these few sentences. Hugs!
Awesome videos for creating an interesting class with minimal materials.

I'm not great. 😉 Thank you for watching! 🌹
I usually do this activity which I call "word hunt" ,but I carry it by the end of the session as a happy ending note, because it's not easy to bring students back to the learning mode if you do it the outset of the course.
Thank you for sharing how you do it in your class! We all appreciate it! 👍
Hi, teacher Val! A wonderfull activity. Your videos helped me a lot. Thank you very much. Looking forward to more interesting activities.

Very useful way to start a lesson @ val
Thank you, Richard!
@@Teacher-Val I’m a great fun. I have sent you a message Kindly check your mail.
@@richardnarh7060 Thank you. Replied. :)
Thanks a lot for your videos a d your efforts! You care! 🙏🏻 I had a question for this great activity, how would you do, so the two teams do not 'cheat' and write the same words?
Thank you! I only count the unique words. If both teams have the same words, I cross out them. :)
@@Teacher-Val sure, but if they stand next to each other, they might keep looking on each other's words? This way they might only write the same words... do you get me? thank you for your respond🙏🏻🌹
@@muwaliyah Ask them to stand at the opposite sides of the blackboard with you in between. :)
Wow
IT's an attractive game.
A wonderful activity. Although it is a bit difficult for my students, but I will try after they go to higher level. Really Thank you for continuing to share, teacher Val.
Thanks! What grade are you teaching?
❤
Hi. thanks for the game. Where are you from originally?
You're welcome! I'm from Lithuania. 🙂
Thank you very much for your help 😊. Could you suggest me, please, a game to guess the word? Ciao from the South of ltaly 😊
Hey, great to have you here! What is your name? I have a whole playlist dedicated to simple ESL games. Here is the link: kzhead.info/channel/PL74FftQ3_xDIStxpR4PTrKOSZmePlIsh4.html Here is a good vocabulary game where students have to guess a word: kzhead.info/sun/l8t-Zat7gKxqqaM/bejne.html
@@Teacher-Val my name is Sara, thank you so much for your desire to help us and "indirectly students" to be more engaged. I passionately believe that learning is fun and needs to be relevant as confidence and understanding grow together. Your energy and professionally are so positive. I would like to find a simple game to use as icebreaker/jumping off point to pave the way.... In order to introduce the target topic of the day. l often used hangman but l would find something else. GRAZIE for all☀️☀️☀️☀️🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻
I am probably gonna start using this daily for myself, great warmup. Thanks!
Haha. Sounds like a plan! 👍
Wow, I'm happy to watch your videos 🥰 Thanks a lot 🤩
Glad you like them! Thank you!
Best.
:))
Funny way thank you.
Thanks a lot.In this game can students double letters? Wonderful Doll
They can only use the letters in the word. Thanks for watching!
I've seen in one of your videos in which you talked about the aim of warming up, but I can't find it. Would you like to send me the link please.
Honestly, I can't remember in which specific video I talked about warm-ups. Sorry! 🙏
Hi,could you tell me how to develop the reading skill for young students
I can't answer this question in a comment. How young are the students? 🙂 Watch this video for starters: kzhead.info/sun/d92zgZV5pKSMY4E/bejne.html
Can you give more example words again?
Sure! Do you want me to make the words out of the master word or do you want me to give you more examples of possible master words?
Hello sir. Can we do this activity for 2nd grade or 3rd grade children? If no, please suggest some alternatives for 2nd and 3rd grade children
This game might be too challenging for Grade 2-3 students. Please check out the playlist “Simple ESL Games” on my channel. I’m sure you can find something useful there. kzhead.info/channel/PL74FftQ3_xDIStxpR4PTrKOSZmePlIsh4.html
Could you please share the music here it's really the best to be used with the activity
Or at least write down it's name to help us download it
I don't know the name of the track I used in the video. It is stock music in Movavi Video Editor. Sorry!

An anagram a day keeps the dimensia away.
Hello teacher
Hey, where are you from? I can't guess it from your accent
I am from Lithuania but for the past 20 years I have lived in China. :)
the first. one from Iraq
Thank you!!!
very god Chanel
very good
Maybe a bit difficult for a A1/A2 level.
It is definitely not for absolute beginners. :)
Amazing , but...as for me ,i hardly could show such a good result(
It is not about the result. It is about the ideas. Also, students often surprise their teachers. :)))
Wolf, on, one, foul
Hi Teacher Val, I thought anagrams are rearranging all the letters in a word to make it a new one.
Yes, you're right, but I couldn't come up with a better name for this warm-up game. :)))
Brain teaser game
L ;: a j a y
Its a boring activity for my students 😢
Different strokes for different folks. Choose your games wisely. 😉
I think it s difficult
It depends on the grade you are teaching. :)
Thanks a lot for helping to other teachers)) today I'm gonna use this activity in my class✉️🤍🤍
My pleasure, Malika! Let me know how it goes! 🌹
@Teacher-Val it was better than I thought, all students were attentive (it was quiet difficult class). I'm a young teacher and honestly if not this activity I couldn't catch the attention of all students)) and this was my first lesson in their class)😄🤍
@@malika_akramova Glad to hear your lesson went well. Check out the "Simple ESL Games" playlist on my channel. I have lots of fun stuff there. Haha. If you have any questions, please let me know.
