I've been playing Star Fox Zero for the last 5 days or so. I really enjoy it! The only tricky part is getting used to the controls, but you get used to them within a day or so. The controls actually make the game much more engaging and intense than if it was like the Star Fox 64 version. Congratulations to the development team on another great game!

They did the "We need your help Star Fox" line all wrong. That was one of my favorites.

I love it but I really hope do something new with the Andross boss battle besides the cube or giant Brain thing.
Flying looks cool, but it won't be the same as Star Fox Adventure and Assault where you can also walk around on foot.
This game could have been something great.. Lets hope the next game is better, don't leave out Krystal next time too??

+AndrewTJ31 Not likely, since Star Fox 2 didn't use textures for the vehicles. The sound, however, definitely seems to be the same.

+AndrewTJ31 Vehicles* Starfox 2 has models that are texture mapped (such as the ipbm's, or the room right before you fight Andross) But none of the vehicles use textures, only simple colors generated by a script.
+AndrewTJ31 Yes the 3D model for the Retro arwing and Walker are directly refrencing the 3D models of StarFox2. They are identical in design. And it is great.

This is a retelling of Star Fox 64... which is a retelling of Star Fox for the SNES. Well, I guess whatever works.

I love the retro look using the fox amiibo, especially when you get to see the scrapped star fox 2 walker as it was. Still a shame star fox 2 wasn't officially released even though it was completed, because of the n64 release with star fox 64.
The animated short actually got me interested in the game. I'll see when I can get it.

This game needed more levels (Planets or sectors), more anthropomorphic beings from other species, more artworks (as Katt, Bill and members of Star Wolf), an Venom full of tough enemies, a theme song of Venom like "Bowser's Generator Galaxy Theme" of Super Mario Galaxy 2, and an Andross more difficult to defeat with 2 phases like final boss All this for a posible alternative route of Corneria II

For anyone worried about the games controls don't be. I played it myself and after going a few rounds in training mode and trying out the different control options I got use to it pretty quickly. It might take longer for others to get use to it but overall you shouldn't let this games controls get to you.

I just beat this game! I love it! The down side is the controls....I figured out how to use and by the third level, but my wrist hurts so much. Yes I have played the tutorial before I started the game.

can't wait to play it! i really like the fox amiibo functionality, but i wished you could unlock it by...i don't know..., defeating the game on hard mode or...complete all the pathways or something.
+Cosmozerk One of the reviews did state you can unlock them in the main game without using amiibo. How you do that, I'm not sure.

Yes you can but it requires you to put the game in co op mode. The 2nd Player uses a pro controller but you can just set down the game pad and play the whole game with a pro controller.
