  • Hi man. Good video despite being very young (you can tell by the voice). When the video started and I heard such a young voice I thought "oh no, another bad video about the mouse I want to check out" (it was the third, I stopped watching the other two I was watching before this because they were bad). You really positively surprised me. A lot of adults should learn from you how to make serious, proper, concise and to the point videos about products they want to review. Please don't do the mistake of becoming like them :) Their problem is that sometimes (I think) they like talking and talking and so you open a video and for the first 2 or 3 minutes they talk about other things, probably because they like the sound of their voice and they enjoy very much listening to themselves. I think that if someone does a video to review a product the protagonist of the video must be THE PRODUCT, non the person speaking, and this is why I liked your video. Very well done !!

  • What you hacent pointed out is the sensor. The DPI isnt the only difference. The sensor in the deathadder is superior for FPS cause it can track small movements and doesnt spin out at all. Harpoons sensor is average. So if you can get the deathadder

  • nice review but DPI doesn't matter that much. The accuracy of the sensor does though. The deathadder has a great sensor that doesn't spin out but the Corsair Harpoon has a 3320 sensor which is very weak. Also the shape of the mouse is very important, and the Harpoon's shape is a deal-breaker for many, including me.

  • tbh this seems very professional the only negative i see is your take on the specs the dpi is not a proper way of measuring spec its just sensitivity no actual specs. Also the i would like if it had a test to see which felt more reactive and good though it could boil down to shape and preference and opinion it would help. great vid tho u deserve alot more for the quality here.

  • I had a Deathadder for 11 years, the only thing I had to was opening it apart for cleaning once in a while. The scroll wheell can't do it's job anymore. So I got the harpoon. It's a good mouse and the dpi button comes in handy. But I feel the deathadder used to fit better in my hand. In terms of ergonomics I still prefer the Razer.

  • Also, you can keep in mind that the Deathadder is better suited for FPS gaming due to it's slightly heavier and more ergonomic design and feel. The Harpoon on the other side is well suited for the I guess popular game called osu! Its lightweight design helps players who want to go on the mouse route versus the tablet route. Harpoon isn't half bad for FPS shooters like CS:GO in fact some people actually prefer lighter mice. Personally, I have the Harpoon because I'm an osu and CS:GO player and it is the best 30 dollars I've ever spent.

      @Nathan477@Nathan4773 жыл бұрын
    • Nathan Hey, sorry for the late answer. I haven’t noticed any problems with it and for me it doesn’t lose track when moved fast. For me the shape is quite perfect because i like to play claw. It depends on your hand size, but it’s pretty small mouse to be honest. For comparison my hands are not big at all and my fingers still peeks over the mouse when using palm grip.

      @Levezu@Levezu3 жыл бұрын
  • Good video, I have to add something though. Even if it says that the mouse is 10k DPI, its still better, no matter what setting you have it at. The point is that it is more accurate, and reacts to movement on much smaller scales.

  • The weight comparsion is completly wrong tho. Razer deathadder chroma is about 97g with a bit of cable, and the corsair harpoon 85g with a bit of cable. The important things like the sensor were not told^^ Who cares about the maximum dpi? The deathadder chroma has one of the best sensor and the elite even the best :D The harpoon uses a pixart 3320, which is not even close to that level tho. It loses much tracking by moving the moust fast compare to the perfect 3389 sensor from an elite or 3360 from chroma

    • @@FlatterMatter maturity answer :P Well the Corsair Harpoon pro came out, and has the PMW 3327 Sensor in it. In my Test's it has nearly the same performance as a pmw 3360 Sensor from the Deathadder. A human won't see the difference anymore. Survives the tilt slamming test at all. For the weight at gaming mice you can buy a small libra to make the difference clear. There are websites who show the full weight, with the full cable and not the weight you are moving with a bit of the cable, which is established in the gaming world. The harpoon did it there. It is important for much player especially for FPS player to have a weight under 100g and the deathadder is still there, that's why many pro players are still using it. No one uses a mouse with 145 g usually :D i have a mouse here the speedlink omnivi, it has a fat aluminic downplate to come at 145g :D No way to move it for me, way to heavy
