OH HOW SWEET ... a teenager.... I am sure vets can give all kinds of warmings but the internal workings of animals are more or less self cleaning.. I have had horses and llamas and Nubian Goats and at one point ten cats all of one family up in Virginia Mn.. they were all find and they lived fifteen years or longer.... Bart has ear issues too . I am interested in how you clean them. Would you share.. i put a bit of olive oil in Barts to smother the ear mites they might have... . Love this video and . I am sure Kurtie is well .. and it surely shall not be around anymore than our pimples are on us now from being a teenager. ha ha Blessings to you .. one other idea on the potty .. hope you share how the new toiled worked. but since the cats to not go potty much in night at all... close the bathroom door and then they will meow if they need to use the restroom .. they are just playing in the sand not really thinking of the potty ha ha .. Bart does not go potty in the night at all and I have his box in the kitchen ... and yes when he goes he has a tendency to want to cover and cover and cover it.. yes..... play in sand ha ha I might try to squeeze it in the bathroom .... wonder if he would mind.. not sure. but try closing the door if you feel it would work.. kids will be kids huh? watch out for plastic bowls . my friend that recently became a vet warned me cats might get acnee if they are eating or drinking from plastic bowls . very lovely cat . was cute to watch

Good to hear it went away. As thejudgmentalcat said below, they can get blackheads on their chin, and that really needs to be monitored or treated as it can turn into lesions and infection if they scratch at it which could invite entry to even more bacteria. I keep pet wipes on hand to clean any eye, ear, chin or even dirty paw issues.

I also have pet wipes, I should probably use them a little more often. I only use them once in a while because last time we went to the vet in December, they pulled out quite some gunk out of Gunther's ear and since then I clean them (especially their ears) once every two weeks but maybe I should do that more often.

That's not common, but it can happen, along with blackheads on their chins Keep an eye on it so it doesn't become infected ❤
