    • That's Kirito's chosen avatar's look before Kayaba forced every avatar to become identical to the user's IRL form. It only exists for like one episode. Kirito's original avatar doesn't look much different from his original self, but we see that there's players that made drastic changes, in particular a guy who chose a female avatar and an old fat man who chose a young handsome man as his.
