Shibaura Corporation Corporation or Shibaura is a Japanese manufacturer of garden tractors, owned by IHI Corporation. This company is one of the leading suppliers of small Japanese engines and tractors.
We received a parcel from a person asking for help. he is a farmer who lives on the outskirts of Japan. he lives in a remote area. he has an old shibaura generator. but after a flood, his machine was soaked in water for several days. now he sends it to us and asks for help. Many thanks to a friend who knew and was interested in us. This is also a gift to the restored The Restorator. Thank you for watching.

  • After the restoration, I recognized this generator) it was distributed among us in Chechnya during the war and after when there was still no power supply, I had another Soviet military generator, which you restored in another video, the Japanese generator consumed less gasoline but also produced less electricity , my military generator GAB Strange gave out twice as much electricity, but it was also economical in terms of fuel and very tenacious and everyone wanted a generator like mine. Very cool job you are a pro

  • UA. Апарат пережив пожежу? Видно, що інженери думали, щоб створити такий компактний генератор. Багато цікавих технічних рішень. Стартер на генераторі, а не на моторі, поплавок карбюратора вільно плаває. І хлопці все це показали! Незрозуміло призначення простору під кришкою, де заливали мастило в регулятор оборотів. Єдине, що мабуть не варто було резинові ніжки фарбувати та алюмінієві деталі. Молодці.

  • I love the effort you put back into your restoration. A few tools I suggest is a 1/4” and a 3/8” torque wrench for your smaller project. Torque specs are very very important on engines so you don’t crush the gaskets!

    • I can tell you that these engines don't care. Just by feel is fine. It aint a high end 2 stroke. Should be more worried about the spray painted bearings and seals.

  • I really enjoyed that. I don't think there was ever a generator built this way sold in my country. (2 stroke belt drive) It really caught me by surprise when I saw the pull starter mounted to the generator side of the belt. Great video!

    • The one things about this guy when he restores 2 stroke engines like chainsaws if you look in one of his last videos he restored a chainsaw and didn’t mix the fuel with oil so the chainsaw he restored a long time. Ago prob doesn’t run anymore
