Lauryn Hill DROPS BOMBSHELL On Music Industry Trying To SACRIFICE Her
So, Lauryn Hill is finally breaking her silence on how the industry tried to sacrifice her, which is what made her disappear from the spotlight. And let me tell y’all, you don’t know the real definition of Holly-weird until you’ve heard the story of Lauryn Hill.
Lauryn Hill was at the top of her game after she released the iconic album, “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill,” when we suddenly stopped seeing her in public - she dropped one of the most iconic albums of all time and then dipped. Many people believe this has to do with her getting exploited by the industry and the media and not getting protected by her crew members from
the Fugees when she needed them.
However, Lauryn is now telling us that we don’t even know the half of it because it goes way deeper than we know. But did the industry really try to sacrifice Lauryn Hill? And were her Fugees members somehow involved in whatever happened to her? Let’s break it down.

  • She was definitely targeted by the industry and was left for dead but she always stayed true to herself that's why she got blackballed because she didn't sell her soul may God bless her heart ❤🙏🙏🙏

    • Targeted? 😂 She put that out there. What artists you ever saw who sat on camera in interviews talking about the same people who she looked to for record deals? She didn't make herself? She was from New Jersey...she resented the fact that yes she was ultra talented. But she couldn't make music in the 10s of millions without that engine. Let's never forget that. And I love her.

I love Lauryn Hill, because she stood in her truth, and I felt it every time I saw her on screen or singing in her words. She was the absolute truth. My apologies! she is the absolute truth.

They just didn't get the no makeup "look", the acoustic music (thats why it was called unplugged, duh!), her often raspy voice, & raw vulnerability. People didnt get why she was so emotional & labelled her "crazy", which stuck. But she talked about her struggles with identity post-fame & even how tred she felt & sounded due to taking care of a new baby on top of her demanding career. She wasn't whining or going crazy. She was young & struggling with tons of pressure on her! Too bad that was the beginning of the end of her career. I wonder what else the industry put her thru? I love me some Lauryn Hill! • I was watching Lauryn speak at around 11:30 minutes in this video and thought "wow what a mature woman" and in my head thinking she was in her 40s or something. Then she immediately says "at the ripe old age of 25" (at around 12:10). meaning she was spitting that lifelong pure wisdom at the age of 25. her brain is well beyond her years

  • Lauryn Art spoke to me and kept me in line in my youth. She made doing the right thing and saying no when something doesn't feel right cool. Thank you for that, Lauryn. Her light was bright, and no matter where she went or what she did, it showed. Scripture asks: "What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his own soul?" Ultimately, it is a choice. Your soul is the part of you that feels the difference between right and wrong. It is the part of you that embodies compassion, kindness, honesty, and guilt. Unfortunately, many people sacrifice their ability to live soulfully in exchange for fame and material possessions. As for me, I had a record deal in my twenties, but much of the work felt soulless, dark, and self-serving. I eventually stopped pursuing that career path because I hated performing for the sake of it instead of expressing myself genuinely.

  • This woman is my musical soulmate…I loved her MTV unplugged set just as much as TMEOLH maybe even more. I hope she returns. TMEOLH was such a positive hip hop/rap album, it proved wrong what so many industry power player’s were saying that positive uplifting messages did not sell in the rap hip hop genre of music. Naïvely I thought that the industry would allow more positive artists in the hip-hop/rap category to come out but I was 100% wrong and it literally broke my heart and caused me to see what type of people controlled the music industry..I tuned out for over 20 years, stopped writing songs and barely played my piano and guitar. I am now working on an independent Album still in the song writing phase with a collection of songs. A time proven No no however is to never mix your personal life with business cause when things go south irrational business decisions can be made. I see her absence from the music scene as a black hole in my heart.

    • Look into lyor Cohen aka the tall Israeli of hiphop and Clive Davis they have admitted to working together to subvert the whole hiphop genre from something positive (like in beautyfull Lauryns case) into something degenerate, dark and harmful... This rabbit hole (or should I say rabbi hole!) goes deeper than most people can even imagine. Once you start connecting the dots, you'll realise that pretty much every part of modern culture has been subverted by the same tribe.... 🤐

  • No female entertainer comes close to Lauryn Hill. Even some male artistes have nothing on her.She acts, writes, raps, sings. Lauryn Hill is a blessed, genuine human being who was wronged by the evil people of her day. If she chooses to make a comeback there are many pretenders in the business whose shine will diminish. Sad how true God given talent means nothing these days.

    • Funny how we are hearing alot about the predatory behavior in Hollywood and the Music Industry. People with power act like people will do anything for fame and fortune. In a way, it is similar to a Faustian contract. Those like Lauren Hill who refused to participate in henious acts in exchange for wealth and fame are demonized and ostracized from their well deserved industry. The world we live in feels so wrong and backwards. This happens way too often to be a coincidence. Prince, Michael Jackson, Whitney, and they tried with Chakakan. Nit certain where we go from here but I remain aware and resistant to conformity. I will not comply.

Sad...but why I went into healthcare adm. While the business was interesting and talent exciting the other sides of it were not for me ...nor was I willing on a number of approaches willing to compromise myself or values..😮😮. • I’m a singer. And while recording my first live band album with acclaimed producers, 2 managers and musicians some of them WARNED me; “Don’t be like Lauryn Hill and ruin your career!” I ask them “how do you mean” they said she was rude and a complete diva and got mad because people refused to address her as “Ms, Hill.” I laughed and kept quiet and made a mental note not to hire weak people in my camp. I realized her strength and boundaries made racist caucasian men FURIOUS. She demanded respect and so did I. A year later I fired my entire team! Not because of their “Lauren advice” but because of my boundaries and self respect. They literally want you desperate and doing ANYTHING NO MATTER HOW TOO TIER YOUR TALENT IS! Its like the talented attracts the most jealous men or people and they want to humiliate and use you at the same time. The nerve. I was like “Byeeeeee.” My sun is now my only music producer. Keeping it in the family.
