This was a DIY food tour, but we believe a guided Food Tour is the BEST introduction to a new country! We have done several food tours over the past 2 years in Istanbul, and by far our favorite is the Taste of Two Continents - yummyistanbul.rezdy.com/?agen...
.......................
One of our favorite things about living in Istanbul is all of the incredible food. We are amazed pretty much daily by how affordable the food is here without compromising on quality! Join us in this video, where we see just how much you can buy for $20 USD for 2 people. We go all around our neighborhood of Moda on the Asian side of Istanbul and make over 10 different stops trying some of our favorite Turkish foods.

Once i bought half a kg of baklava for my hotel room just for myself and finished it in a day and a half.. and that didnt even include all the different types of baklava and sweets i was inhaling as i roamed around sightseeing outside.. I underestimated how much walking i needed to do to offset all that sugar because i definitely came back heavier..
