Teams have 100% worked them out, and their manager refuses to change, so I wouldn't be surprised if they finish 8th or 9th next season. Newcastle and Chelsea are in touching distance this season, despite Newcastle having the worst injury crisis in the prem ever, and Chelsea having their worst season in decades. There's absolutely zero chance spurs will finish above either of those clubs, and you can even throw villa into the mix as well, even though they will probably struggle slightly next season themselves, as every new comer to the champions league does seem to drop off for some strange reason.

If it wasn't for Ange Spurs would have been mid table. Trust the process. Arteta Klopp and even Pep struggled in the first season. Much worse than 5th. This is a huge rebuild. Especially after Kane left. We have to get more suitable players for our system. We have to be patient. And Ange will deliver.

Ange potecoglou out!!! It makes no sense to plan the 23-24 season with just one tactic. Even though all teams already figured out how to destroy us, they were not prepared. It's not the players' fault. This is entirely the ange's fault. The tactic of not being able to defend against the opponent's counterattack by raising the line and opening up the space behind the defense even though there is no Udoggi is a really stupid tactic. Spurs have had a pretty brutal run in, playing all the big teams in a row at the business end of the season. Everyone said Pep was found out after finishing 3rd in his first season in England. Ange isn't Pep, but how he responds and adapts for next season will be telling. If he doesn't adapt at all, they will get hammered a lot next season. I sure am hoping Spurs continue to falter so my Newcastle can jump them.

Does anyone sees parallels between Ange's first season and Erik's ? Both are system based coaches that initially 'transformed' the way their clubs played - getting good results, being a breath of fresh air while walking into dysfunctional clubs. Like EtH, Ange's side is ambling towards the end of season having been found out by opponents.
Not really cause ETH was successful in his first season. They got 3rd with a higher points total and won a cup. If Ange had won a cup with Spurs already he'd be hailed as a genius, but we went out of the cups earlier than last season and have let top 4 slip away with a few games to go, when we're not even in European competition.

Take a minute and Think about it.,, Everytime a manager comes to Spurs, he always deals with players of a previous system. Whenever a new manager starts to rebuild they are not fully backed at this club....that's the problem Sacking Ange will be a step backward if he never got and tested the players he wants... These coming windows are crucial. It's really always up to Levy to save this club and it's always the same story. The good thing about Ange is that he knows his way around with words and hopefully he can convince levy to get his desired players. Poch , Mourinho, Conte all showed us glimpses of what could've been at this club with all those players they had to deal with. Imagine if any of them was actually fully backed... It will always come down to Levy ultimately .

What do Tottenham fans expect ? He managed a Celtic side that is odds on favourites to win every trophy there is, look at Brendan Rodgers’s won the lot now crawled back to enhance his CV.
Ange has won more points from his first 35 games than Arteta and Klopp, so while the last few games have been atrocious, there's still some cause for hope. But things need to be much improved next season. As for changing the players at halftime, I agree. But at the same time I think there's a lot of players that Ange doesn't want around.

The being found out narrative is ridiculous because the attacking and defending shapes that every team plays with in the Premier league are old shapes. He plays a WM shape in attack and 4-4-2 in defense these are well known shapes that have been in Football since the 1930's, and 1940's. Ange doesn't need a plan B, if you think that Liverpool go out and play with a plan B in mind it's ridiculous, they tweak their play during a match and that's it. The quality of players is really the difference. Stop bashing a manager that lost the best striker that Tottenham has ever had, and hasn't had a chance to clean out the deadwood players that previous managers have even said aren't good enough. It’s not the manager who’s the problem, it’s the players. It seems a game of two half’s. The first half the players don’t perform and in the second half they do. The players need to go for it from the start and not the second half when they are behind by xx amount of goals. If the players played to first half like the second it wouldn’t be an issue. As spurs would then be ahead. Ange needs more time, his only been at spurs for a season, look how many managers fail in their first season at a club, that would be all of them. The problem comes when you keep changing the manager every 5 mins, the players don’t know if they are coming or going. Then you have players joining and leaving, which leds to more chaos. Ange needs a good two or three seasons, time to build a stronger team. Spurs currently have a basic team, which has played well most of the season. The issue comes that some fans want results and trophies straight away which is not going to happen. Being 5th or 4th in the league at the end of the season is a good base to start from for seasons to come. Can now only get better as a bench mark has now been set. Remember at the top managers were given time two or three seasons, some four seasons to build a team and the results have put them in the top 3 fighting for the league.

I think the coaching staff should be changed before the manager its been a very emotional season getting through the injuries, but there is no exuse for losing the competitive drive players have when a new manager comes.
