Know this before purchasing a TUF series laptop. Despite the fact that these laptops are excellent in terms of performance and price. However, there are some constructions quality issue (only for external body). Because of poor material quality, the hinges may come off after 1 or 1.5 years. Similarly, threaded bushings may break over time.
I bought the a17 variant of this laptop with the same specs over 7 months ago. Amazing laptop for the price, the battery life is pretty much as good as when I bought it. It can take about 5hrs for the battery to drain from 80% to 15% on normal use. As for gaming performance it can handle most popular games. However you may need to run the game on low - medium settings on extremely GPU intensive games.

Because I watched this the other day, I decided to buy ASUS TUF A15 2021 yesterday. I was torn, for like months, on which laptop is best suited for a heavy gamer like me. Other reviewers said that the TUF series has a lot of issues and problems, but luckily, I stumbled upon your review that ASUS fixed those controversial issues by releasing new versions of TUF this 2021. I played GTA V for HOURS and I did not encounter ANY thermal issues. The configurations and other settings are all DEFAULT. I did not changed nor adjusted any settings on the system and/or the Armoury Crate. Rather, I downloaded GTA V right after connecting to the wifi and straight ass played it after downloading. In short, the TUF A15 2021 is a very good shot! It is definitely worth the buy.

Dual channel ram insanely boosts performance for ryzen processor i have asus tuf a15 with 1650ti and r7 4800h before upgrading ram csgo was giving 100-120 fps at 1080p high and gta 5 was giving 50-60fps at 1080p high now i get 180-200fps in csgo and 80-90fps in gta 5 in same settings.

Msi gf65 thin with 1660ti and i5 9300h (4c 8t) with 16 gb ram and 512 gb storage. Temperatures don't go upwards of 90° with red dead redemption 2 on ultra. Valhalla on ultra gives 43 average with 88° C peak (cooler boost on). I bought mine for ₹73,400. Ek do din aur wait kara hota toh 75k mein i5 10300h (6c 12t) but i think it is still listed. Chrck it out 😄

i am a consistent cod player and warzone is a highly cpu bound game and its never been fully optimized ever since a new update comes the performace drops instead of increasing so dont worry about it . i play on a 3060 laptop when i bought it i knew the performance i will be getting .. it was around 70s 80s due to single channel ram and when i upgraded it to 32 gigs dual i got about 40% increase in almost every game including warzone which gave me 120 to 130 fps... on medium settings with RTX off obviously . so i think this is a good laptop because its giving almost decent performance without being fully optimized for gaming.

even after 90% + gpu usage in cyperpunk, the fps was exactly same as ryzen 5 5600h+ 1650. i think this is due to better single core performance of 5600h and the shitty 4 gb vram in 3050.

Thanks, my dad got me this. Haven't played any game but the performance for an overall power user is pretty good. No lags. Edit: I played Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and Red Dead Redemption 2. I was getting around 90-144 on an average on AC and 47-63 on an average on rdr2 with balanced and "PS4 Console equivalent settings" and some very minor tweakings of my own. Above 72fps if you have dlss enabled. Remember to play rdr2 on Vulkan (graphics settings) to get a little more and consistent fps. Genuine copies of rdr2 have dlss so be sure to take benefit of it for above 72-75 fps, cracked rdr2 copies do not have dlss function unfortunately. Edit: New rdr2 crack has dlss now. Will get around 90fps with dual channel ram on medium settings.
