At last! Wacom EMR!
Looks nice. I'm wondering if the liquid cooling inside will get it on the TSA list of electronics that won;t be allowed as a carry on item on flights? like the Surface Pro

I was wondering if the Stadtler Noris digital pen for the samsung 9 pro will work with this tablet as well. It is using the same emr technology too.

That's not necessarily the Thunderbolt 3 logo - many manufacturers use the same lightning bolt to indicate it is a power out USB port. I sure hope you are right, but I have posted on nearly every video review I could find of this thing and not a single reviewer has responded on whether it is USB-C/Thunderbolt 3.
Some reviewers actually said, this device has Thunderbolt. It's also written in some articles. Also this symbol should not be allowed to be used, if there's no Thunderbolt. What we don't know yet however is, if it has 4 or only 2 PCIe lanes connected.
im okay with 2, as long it has thunderbolt im happy - literally the perfect laptop ive been looking for; was in the alley also for a 2 in 1 but this just melds both worlds other laptop manufacturers seem not to mesh with me (give me thunderbolt 3 so i can expand with an egpu maybe down the line [with that 8th generation cpu i dont think the cpu bottleneck will be as super limiting as other Y and 7th gen counterparts], an mx150 is fine so that i can do some light gaming like dota 2 or cs go, the latest 8th generation intel cpu cuz 4cores easily > 2 [performance charts indicate a huge difference between generations {thank you ryzen}], the added bonus of the stylus having a spot in the device is super welcome because i forget where things are easily even if it wasnt something i was looking for in the first place).
Early reviews have not been kind. Fatal flaw is weak battery. Hopefully delays mean Acer is fixing this problem???

Please let the display be properly laminated for not much parallax. Together with the Wacom EMR digitizer this could finally be a passively cooled Windows Tablet with proper Pen input. What about Thunderbolt 3 btw.? Is it available?
Samsung Notebook 9 Pro 15 " with EMR stylus is great but missing thunderbolt 3 for eGPU. Will buy this one (Acer) absolutely if it really come with thunderbolt 3 (4 lane) eGPU supported and a dedicated NVIDIA graphics but not ATI. In fact, a bigger screen as 15.6" is much more preferred ! BTW, pls make it available in Hong Kong asap with a " fair " price. Acer in HK is always 25~40% higher price tag than U.S but come with an obsoleted configuration, and-also not much after sale service supported. THK.
Please, can we get some more updates "news" about it? Which keyboard layouts will come out (eng, ger, jp)? On which USB Port can it be charged? Is there realy only a Win10 HOME or even else a Pro Edition possible?

It's brilliant, but can we flip the screen such that the keyboard hide behind the screen and it can be used just like a Tab (with keyboard still attached so that it can be used when in need) ..??
I have the Switch 5 and it's possible to flip its keyboard on the back of the tablet and the tablet still works while keyboard is deactivated.

I was interested until I saw the pen. I was hoping for something a bit larger and more ergonomic. Although, if a standalone pen was released with this, I'd probably be sold!
Yes, that's a bit of a bummer. Should be compatible with the Wacom EMR pens though.

Please update the version and hardware of Acer switch 7 Series tablet. Artists have been waiting for three years, and there is no new two in one tablet with wacom EMR stylus technology!

when one liquid loop isn't that effective so they make it double ... interesting
One wouldn't be effective enough, it can't absorb the heat in the middle. Dividing the machine into more sections makes it cool faster, but you don't want too many loops for it takes up too much space and might conduct heat between tubes. Two is the best solution for this size. You can also see that one loop is dedicated to the battery section, the other is for the motherboard.
Wth Acer, I just bought the newly released Switch 5 a month ago and now you release a better one? I can't even return the Switch 5 now because it's past the return date. Give your customers a better heads up, would you? Thanks.

Yeah, but the Switch 5 eventually released. Any chance on this one? I haven't been able to get straight answer from Acer reps on their site.

@Robgoren Really is it that bad? I mean, basically every headset is bluetooth now. And I heard wi-fi was actually way worse.
Wacom
The most important, make the Ram, SSD, and Wifi bluetooth upgradable. Computer with SSD (hard drive) embedded to the motherboard will never be considered. Since user can't pull out the hard disk for repairing & the second-hand selling as a data privacy concern.
It's very difficult to build a super slim 2-in-1 device like this with a high level of repairability, especially with the Switch 7's special water cooling. These kinds of devices with kickstands usually require the screen to be taken off to access the internals, but hopefully Acer has managed to figure something out! I think at least the SSD should be replaceable.
Personally, I really don't mind few millimeter thickness added, let save even 5 ~ 7mm added as a trade off for repairing ability and environmental concern. Back to basic, a swap-able battery design is perfect. It do a priority in sale volume concerning with a shorter product life cycle rather than a technical issue. User can't upgrade the item. Then buy a new model in next season. Product from Apple, Microsoft is always not really environmental friendly. Not my 1st choice. Btw, very nice, “ Romanza “, thumb up !
Uhh MX150
But for a Windows tablet meant to rival Surface Pro 6, it is definitely an advantage. I couldn't care less if it's MX150, it's fine by me.
