For the engine mount I like the idea of bracing it around the trans tunnel, especially if you plan on doing some spirited driving.
You know you've made it when you have to borrow the aftermarket ECU thats in your Lambo to use in your Volvo lol. I fucking love it Peter, cant wait for the first start.
I watch a ton of KZhead channels but this one is by far my favorite. Peter always has insane builds ! Love and support from America buddy!!

Man ser jo på Engine Masters sin episode om "header bashing" der de banket manifolden nesten flat og ikke mistet mer enn noen få hk. Så som du sier, så lenge de flower bra i utgangspunktet så har det ingenting å si.

You should contact Stradman and do a colab to save his clusterfuck of Gallardo build. Would be great exposure. I know you could save it! 👌
Those headers are still 90% more cleaner and better quality than my "nice peaces" 🤭 So dont worry, i think they work just fine and thats what matters 👍 Some extra mount backside of the engine might not hurt. I imagine it could crack something in front of it. Awesome build, there it comes! Thank you for these vids! 🙏😊

there was an episode of engine Masters where they went to test how much power you lose from denting your headers for clearance, and they got to the point where they just crushed the absolute crap out of every runner in multiple places each and even then the engine lost literally 1 HP versus undamaged headers. so in the future whenever you have to dent your headers for clearance you don't have to worry about going through the hassle of making up for the loss in cross-section, it literally just does not matter. The episode isn't on KZhead anymore for some reason, but if you Google "engine masters episode 4" it'll come right up.

Since it's kind of a budget build, it would be cool to see you use a budget ECU. Like a stock Audi part or a Speeduino or even a MegaSquirt

Jag är inte religös men you sir, are doing god's work.
I suspect the bypass on the filter is setup that way because the bypass would usually integrated into a cartridge filter or separate if using a "paper" filter but because it can be used standalone (ie without another paper/cartridge filter) it also has to allow for the same bypass. Blocking the bypass and relying on the one in the cartridge is therefore absolutely fine, particularly as if you've blocked that filter you've already got major problems!

always fun to see new clips. remeber finding the old 242 8valve witrh music thats lets say fitting for that time. me and friends looked and had that on repeat so many times then seeing you getting the supra when the hype was as big as it could be about them and seeing you at end of one of the clip cutting one in half to convert to righthand was a glory, was rumored that the one you cut in half was one that got crashed by some younglings around Karlshamn that "forgot" to insure it when driving home after they bought it

I was thinking the same thing like other commenters, front and rear motor plates like in drag race cars. Just not sure if something so rigid would be good for sliding and drifting. Great work Peter!!! The volvoghini shirts are selling well, wanted to get a large in black but it's sold out!
The amount of torque when drag racing would be very large I would be tempted to put mounts by the fire wall nothing wrong with the exhaust manifolds regards from England retired Engineer

Don't worry about feeling bad headers and welds! Headers are very hard to make! What you made will work just fine. Cool to see you getting close to finishing your swap project.
