Predator Hunting: SUPPRESSED™ "TRIFECTA"

2013 ж. 6 Мау.
410 898 Рет қаралды

A Triple is something a coyote hunter dreams of, and this set not only provided us with just that, but it concluded our third HD filmed triple of the season!
A fresh blanket of powdery white snow, in conjunction with sub zero temps, was a recipe for death, that was fabricated with our appetite for carnage...
Succeed with us through the sea of snow covered sand, to pursue, "TRIFECTA"

  • This is my absolute favourite of all of your videos! You nail 'em and they still keep coming at you. Awesome vid, awesome music, awesome location and gear and above all -- awesome shooting. Damn! I wish I could do what you guys do, but unfortunately here in Germany our government is friggin' paranoid about guns and hunting. One day though...;p

  • 3 years later and I still come back to this video. Every video you guys make has its own unique things but this one is one of my favorites. Awesome work, I got into coyote calling myself about 2 years ago after watching your videos and most ranchers asking for help with coyotes killing their one source of income. I love your videos, you guys are beast at what you do and the level of accuracy behind every shot is amazing!!! Keep it up

  • Well done! You guys should consider getting some soft-style stadium seats for sitting on. Excellent back support once the side straps are sewn closer to the sides and addtl. snaps at the ends of the straps for hands free carry . Huge improvement for sitting bipod shots due to enhanced back support. Used it just today for a 475-yd. coyote from the sit/bipod with my 223 AI AR/60 TMK load.

  • great shooting. you all have the best shot placement and cleanest kills of any hunting shows I've seen counting on cable networks. its nice to see actual shooters who know their guns and can you them as theyre meant to be used and capable of. do you all load your own rounds or do you shoot factory loads. I'm wanting to get a can for my .308 tactical and hunt coyotes like you all do due to them becoming such a pest problem on not only my farm but surrounding ones

Thanks so much for the videos, perhaps a bit more "gear time"? ammo and call manufacturers, scope models, scent attractors etc.. thanks again...

    • It's very gratifying to know that people like you see our work, and can not only understand but can also appreciate the time we take to build custom equipment and handload for precision, all while getting tons of trigger time, so we don't make bad shots... I'm gonna be out for a few weeks, hopefully if things pan out, I can get some added equipment reviews out.

  • I like the idea of the 22-250. I've been thinking a lot about that round. But I was told you can shoot the barrel out in as little as a thousand rounds with it... do you find this to be true? And why did you pick it over the 223 or other similar rounds?

    @Doc56Holiday@Doc56Holiday10 жыл бұрын
    • Rebarreling doesn't matter to us... once you build a custom rifle, the only thing that is expendable is the barrel, shoot it out, put another on, and so goes the story... the 22-250 has much more velocity and energy than the 223, hydrostatic shock is your friend when you are predator hunting, and the 250 plain and simply delivers.

    • ONEILLOPS Thank You again. This gives me a place to start working with. You have that bullet pulled out there a bit from the factory loads. Do you crimp it? Sorry for all the questions but I really love predator hunting. I've been using a 22 Mag here East of the Mississippi and get a few dumb ones. My son lives in AZ. and says there are a lot of them out there and I need something that can reach out there like you guys do. I would like to make this an annual event with him and grandsons when we visit. Thanks again.

      @Doc56Holiday@Doc56Holiday10 жыл бұрын
  • I'm thinking I just need to make a video explaining what most people don't understand... there are multiple reasons we hunt coyotes, first and foremost its fun... second, it's rewarding in the sense that you've fooled an animal that can see, hear and smell 1000's of times better than me... third I keep the furs, I sell them and make an nice bit of money after the season... fourth, without proper population reduction, they get diseased, eat fawns, nests, livestock, etc...

  • I was surprised to see you shoot at a dog on the skyline..A miss at that up angle would have gone a long ways. Even if you know that their is nothing on the other side your not following basic shooting practices. My 11 year old grandson who just passed his hunters safety class pointed this out while we were watching your videos. We talked it over and decided we should write you about this. Jim and Todd.

    @jimkeith8097@jimkeith80979 жыл бұрын
    • Jim, tell your grandson that was a very keen observation... I'm not sure if you can hear it on video or not, but Jeff, the landowner, owns the 30K acres we are hunting, and he owns the 5 miles of land east of the shot... If my round would have went astray, at that angle the trajectory would have carried it possibly another mile... Jeff gave me the green light, I felt confident, and there were no cattle, no roads, literally nothing, to the east of the location, just another larger sand hill... We practice safe shooting, we know all our location, all the ground we hunt is private and we know it like the back of our hand, IF we didn't we wouldn't attempt shots like this.

      @ONEILLOPS@ONEILLOPS9 жыл бұрын
