    • @ass81 What you just said not only presumes that both your conscious mind and memories are products of your physical body (for which there is precisely zero actual proof), it flies in the face of any number of extraordinary phenomenon that seem to lend very strongly to the idea that we are *not* our physical bodies. Examples would be the millions of numbers of near-death experiences (for which physicalism has no actual explanation), OBEs (out-of-body experiences) the research done into purported reincarnation (for which I reserve ultimate judgment on, but which is quite interesting), etc, etc. I mean you're just out here presuming to know the truth of reality and what life and death actually are. W/ all respect, dial the arrogance back.

  • Maybe I was actually listening for once. Wow! There are too many clever word mongers out there, but this was so steady and coherent. We don't really understand until it all sinks in. It takes a while for the words to settle and have meaning. By the time it all ended, I was listening, not just hearing. It was more of a feeling than an abstraction. Now I begin to understand how well he communicated that which is very hard to express. The religion & monarchy section was excellent.

  • I was “watching” my tonsillectomy as 6 y/o from over the table. I also saw iridescent curtains of colored light all around me. They were flowing as though they were alive with colors. Then I came “back.” This was in 1948. I had NO idea what this was about, but I WANTED TO GO BACK! Years later as an adult, I got lost at sea off the coast of HAWAII in a scuba accident. All alone. Nothing but swells and sky. No land. Just sun and ocean. I swam around for two hours. I heard a “voice” in my mind to use my scuba mask as a reflector to catch the sun. It was my first dive. I had no idea. I was not frightened or terrified. I couldn’t understand why not. It should have been the most terrifying moment of my life. I was expecting to die by lack of water and exhaustion in about 24 hours. Probably by drowning. I am a surgeon. I had no “illusions.” It is almost impossible to be found at sea. One’s chances are less than 10%. The only reason why I was not terrified was because I was already dead from an ether overdose during my tonsillectomy, and severe hypoxia. I already had cancer. I was not afraid of death then either. Or now. Fear of death provides an important defense mechanism. But after one has already been dead, enough to have an OBE, one loses fear. I don’t think religion has anything to do with it. Except that the “voice” I heard was most likely supernatural. Otherwise I never would have been found. However, the person who made this video didn't understand what he was saying, as can be seen by the many, many mistakes made in the subtitles. If you're going to go to the trouble of producing a video like this, then surely it must also be worth the effort of asking a native English speaker to transcribe the words so your subtitles are correct and make sense?

If you want to end up in Heaven and partake of the many blessings God has in store for those who believe Him, then you must pray the following with conviction: "Dear God in heaven, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I acknowledge to You that I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins and the life that I have lived; I need your forgiveness. I believe that your only begotten Son Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross at Calvary and died for my sins, and I am now willing to turn from my sin. You said in the bible that if we confess the Lord our God and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead, we shall be saved. Right now I confess Jesus as my Lord. With my heart, I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead. This very moment I accept Jesus Christ as my own personal Savior and according to His Word, right now I am saved. Amen."

That will never change and there are no exceptions. Jesus said broad is the road and wide is the gate to hell that many shall go and narrow is the path and small is the way to heaven that few shall find. If you haven’t asked Jesus to be your Lord and God and believe he is Lord and died on the cross and rose from the dead three days later why not do it today while you still can and then rejoice in being eternally saved.
