The decks are gimmicked front and back.
It's not gimmicked, cards are pre ordered before the trick began. When they were shuffled just once and then separated, it just puts the cards back to the original order of them matching the opposite packet

You can with a Svengali Deck of cards. Look it up.
Not a Svengali deck, try giving a Svengali deck to a spectator and ask them to shuffle, watch how quickly they figure out every other card is short. Decks are just pre arranged and the "shuffle" is unshuffled when he separates the red and the black

@@KannadaGuitar I didn"t know these methods before, so I can't name them. But I tried the whole routine and it worked like I thought he did it. The decks a prearanged in black and red and a certain order. After riffle shuffle it once he reversed the shuffle by selecting black and red. The cuts are also reversed directly.

@@KannadaGuitar the first coincidence always works when the cards are in the same order but mirrored. The second is just a card force. And the cards are all the time in the same order and never really shuffeld, so the last one is also no problem.

always say stop on the last...that's because most the time these magicians are forcing cards by hiding cards with another card so if you get rid of every card except for the last one then you can't force cards haha

Last trick where all the red card match happens because card order doesn't change when you shuffle. Because they either go in rounds or stay in the same order. And he sees the cards when he separates it. He can move one or 2 cards here and there if the order is messed up. You can also see he move a bulk of cards to the other hand at once when Kelly says stop. Mat Franco is one of my favourite magicians. He is one reason I love magic so much.
You mean card order doesn't change when you CUT. However, the shuffle at the beginning, _HE_ cut the cards before Heidi shuffled them. So what did he do? He cut the cards with black one half, red the other. Once shuffled, and ONE time only, he separated the blacks and reds out....so then it is back to the original order when he asked her to shuffle. Then he just had to uncut the cards when they cut the cards.
