Parenthood honestly just gets better, my oldest turns 18 on Tuesday and is literally my best friend, I have a 7 year old that is beautifully inquisitive and into everything and I have a 3 month old that I’m so excited to live through all the stages with again

My daughter turned 11 years old this weekend. I started watching yours and Zoe’s videos at the exact time I was pregnant with her 🥹 I‘m now 32 years old and can’t tell you how much joy watching you as a parent brings to me ☺️ and yes, they grow old way too quickly 😭 but one thing I enjoyed so much over the last years of being a mom of two is, not only is it scary and crazy to be with your kids and try to soak up every little moment, but also how much better they make you as a person and help you grow soooo much. So you will always have that aspect in your life, even when they are all grown up 🥰 All the best from 🇩🇪

the feeling you’re describing at the end - i think i know what you mean… i’ve had my dream job for 8 months now and i am just in a constant state of being overwhelmed!!! and full of gratitude everyday (i cry multiple times a week!) it’s such a weird feeling because you’re trying to enjoy every second but also struggling to process the fact that what you’ve waited so long for is happening now !!!!

You are an incredible human, Alfie. I grew up with a Narcissistic father who is still effecting my life as a 32 year old. It brings me so much joy to see how amazing of a father you are especially to two beautiful little girls. It is so important that girls have a strong father figure in their lives. I thank God that your daughters will never feel the pain and lasting effects that I feel everyday. God sends angels down to earth and you are one of them. You give me so much hope and positivity. The bit where you’re talking about the ‘weird’ feeling of living your dream life is sooo relatable and left me teary eyed. I dont have kids myself but for me ive always wanted to have a dog. While watching your video, he is currently peacefully sleeping next to me and my heart is so full when thinking about him and this moment, but its sometimes like there is too much love in my heart that it will explode while at the same time feeling scared this too will be over one day. Big feelings are difficult but beautiful but difficult 😅 so you are definitely not alone in what you’re sharing in this video. Thank you so much for talking so freely about your emotions, its a breath of fresh air to see men not hold back about this! Also been watching for maybe 8-9 years now and i completely agree with your favourite feature about yourself. You (and zoe) have influenced me, or maybe inspired me is a better word, to step out of my comfort zone , and the concept of ‘my future self’ pops up daily in my mind to challenge myself and/or enjoy life more. It is bittersweet. At the same time as I'm enjoying my daughter now (she'll be 2 at the end of may) i simultaneously grieve the moment. Alfie it’s fleeting and it’s goes so fast but there are so many stages with our kids it lasts forever. I was a single mum and my girl is 28 today 22/4 and felt like yesterday. But I still worry every day about her life and what will happen but every moment is such a special moment no matter their ages. My saddest thing is I am now legally blind and can’t see her face so all the memories are what I live with and they are the best. Love hearing you in this phase of life. My three children are grown, but I remember trying to soak up those precious early moments too. They do go by very quickly! I LOVE motherhood, but sometimes I let the business of life take away from the joy of being a mom. I have two sons and I’m telling you it goes super fast!! They are 32 & 30 now 💙💙. My favourite age of kids is between 3-5. It’s the absolute best! Kudos to you Alfie for recognizing that you need to stay in the moment and soak it all in. I love watching your little family. Thank you so much for sharing with us. Oh ya….now I get to experience the sweet 3-5 age again as I have 2 little grandsons now almost 2 and 6 months 💙💙🥰

Beautiful video capturing life’s most joyous moments. The section of you describing reaching a goal/dream that is so ingrained in you and the way you put it made me feel so seen. I am currently having the same feeling. Me and my boyfriend have been together for 8 years now and we are 24 and have just bought our first house and waiting to complete and move in very soon. I have imposter syndrome and can’t believe it’s happening even though it makes perfect sense with the path we’re on. It’s a huge milestone ticked off and I’m trying to soak in every second and not rush ahead and appreciate where I’m at. But it does feel daunting that it’s happening now. Strange feeling that I can’t quite place. So Thankyou because I breathed a sigh of relief when you spoke about your own experiences. The answer probably is to just live and not think about tomorrow, as yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift that is why we call it the present.

My favorite thing about myself is how easily I get excited or hyper. I feel like it's the most child-like trait I have, and I mean that in the best way possible. When I'm excited about something, I don't feel the need to hold back and I just love it. A part of me feels healed now that I can just BE :)
